Bill was a fantastic guide! He's entertaining, a great public speaker, and brought a wealth of knowledge!! If you get a early boarding ticket, you get free entry into the Chicago Architecture Center. The interactive exhibition was top notch. Look for The First Lady, and book with Bill.

Absolutely fantastic experience, we were running a few minutes behind and called the office, they assured that although they try to leave right on time, they will try their best to accommodate us if we miss our boat. Thankfully we got there one minute late and they departed 5-10 mins after the scheduled time. We had Steve as our guide, he was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and welcoming. Overall really amazing experience and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to know a bit more about the city, architecture, culture, and history!

I can’t say enough good things about this tour. For 90 minutes we were enlightened and educated about all of the outstanding architecture along the river. It is an incredible value for the price. Our docent, Alice, is a genius communicator regarding all the details, the architects and the dates of the buildings along the river. The boat has an upper deck and a lower deck so that you can choose how you want to experience the tour.

Tour is extremely informative- volunteer docent was extremely knowledgeable and shared her knowledge in an entertaining manner. You can’t appreciate Chicago’s architecture until you see it from the water and learn the history. Money well spent and I will do this tour again!
