Great tour guide! Windows of bus were fogged, couldn’t see anything but stories were great! Good length but they need to fix the windows in winter with fogging!

I really enjoyed the tour. Ethan was the tour guide and he is very knowledgeable and very engaging to listen to. It could have been a three hour tour and I would have loved every minute of it. It was neat to stand where John Dillinger went down and to pass through specific locations where history happened. No issues with the bus other than my inability to walk in snow properly. I think the crowd size was perfect. We all got to have a good experience wherever we were seated or standing. It was well worth the price and I hope to do the night tour in the future.

My husband and I booked this tour spontaneously after seeing the bus drive past during our weekend in the city. I want to begin by saying that we highly enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide Mike and driver Tommy were great. We would definitely recommend this to our friends. It was an especially nice way to spend 90+ minutes touring the city in a heated bus (though it was not warm enough to remove our coats FYI... we actually appreciated this because we didn't have to disrobe and get dressed again for the stops, but we did hear some other people complain it was too chilly). With that being said, I do want to point out that if you are looking for true "sights", this trip is very sparse on that and I think you'd be disappointed. Besides stopping at the Biograph theater to see where Al Capone was captured and stopping at Harry Caray's to see Frank Netti's vault, there isn't much to actually SEE since most of the spots discussed on the tour have been torn down or changed so completely they aren't even recognizable. BUT this didn't bother us at all. As podcast lovers, we just enjoyed listening to the stories that Mike was telling as we drove through the city and the north and south side neighborhoods. I joked to my husband that it was kind of like listening to a live podcast about the city's crime history. And even though we are true crime podcast fanatics, we admittedly didn't know much about the Chicago Mob scene, so most of the stories were pretty new to us. And they were interesting and entertaining enough that we went looking for Chicago crime movies on Netflix later that night in our hotel. (We settled on The Outfit...which was great!) So my TDLR review is that if you enjoy podcasts, true crime stories, and enjoy a comfortable ride while checking out the modern day city, you will have a great time on this tour like we did! If you are used to bus tours with lots of stops to SEE things that still exist, you *might* feel a bit disappointed. (Like I said, we did NOT! But I want to be honest in my review, as I can imagine if you had that expectation, you would feel the trip fell short.)
