Fantastic tour really interesting. My husband said he wanted to do this tour whilst on holiday from the UK, I wasnt too bothered about it but we booked it & Im so glad we did. It was one of the most interesting tours weve done & really good fun! Our guide Ethan & driver Jacuse (sorry if names are spelled wrong) were both fantastic. A must do if in Chicago

My husband and I booked this tour spontaneously after seeing the bus drive past during our weekend in the city. I want to begin by saying that we highly enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide Mike and driver Tommy were great. We would definitely recommend this to our friends. It was an especially nice way to spend 90+ minutes touring the city in a heated bus (though it was not warm enough to remove our coats FYI... we actually appreciated this because we didn't have to disrobe and get dressed again for the stops, but we did hear some other people complain it was too chilly). With that being said, I do want to point out that if you are looking for true "sights", this trip is very sparse on that and I think you'd be disappointed. Besides stopping at the Biograph theater to see where Al Capone was captured and stopping at Harry Caray's to see Frank Netti's vault, there isn't much to actually SEE since most of the spots discussed on the tour have been torn down or changed so completely they aren't even recognizable. BUT this didn't bother us at all. As podcast lovers, we just enjoyed listening to the stories that Mike was telling as we drove through the city and the north and south side neighborhoods. I joked to my husband that it was kind of like listening to a live podcast about the city's crime history. And even though we are true crime podcast fanatics, we admittedly didn't know much about the Chicago Mob scene, so most of the stories were pretty new to us. And they were interesting and entertaining enough that we went looking for Chicago crime movies on Netflix later that night in our hotel. (We settled on The Outfit...which was great!) So my TDLR review is that if you enjoy podcasts, true crime stories, and enjoy a comfortable ride while checking out the modern day city, you will have a great time on this tour like we did! If you are used to bus tours with lots of stops to SEE things that still exist, you *might* feel a bit disappointed. (Like I said, we did NOT! But I want to be honest in my review, as I can imagine if you had that expectation, you would feel the trip fell short.)

This was amazing tour! I enjoyed seeing different parts of Chicago as well as hearing about the crime history. I was not expecting the small crime museum. It was definitely worth it and so much fun!

Our guide Ethan did a great job guiding us through the historic figures that made up Chicago’s crime world. He was friendly, spoke loud enough, and was an absolute gentleman helping me each time I stepped on the stepstool to avaoid as much of the snow as possible. My parents were with me and also enjoyed the tour. We all highly recommend Ethan and this tour!

Fun tour with some mob history and corny jokes. I learned more than I thought I would. Mike was a great tour guide and a good sport when it came to delivering jokes that didn’t always land with the group.
