This Chicago Food & Bike tour is perfect for the entire family, put on by Bobby’s Bike Hike, whose food tours in just the past year have ranked as Top 10 in America by USA Today and Top 20 in the world by Tripadvisor. Biking is easy in Chicago because of it's miles of bike trails, flat terrain and easy connections between attractions. We’ll be sampling from each of Chicago’s well known and unique foods -- deep dish pizza, a true Chicago hot dog, and a dessert for good measure. You’ll learn the history behind the foods and also get a taste for some of Chicago’s most popular downtown districts as we cruise through the Gold Coast, Chicago Riverwalk, Millennium Park, Buckingham Fountain, Museum Campus, Navy Pier and along the Lakefront. Whether day or night, you'll get fantastic views of the skyline and feel the city's vibrant energy. Veggie options available. 5.00We booked this bike tour because we thought it would be a fun and more active alternative to riding a tour bus around Chicago. We weren’t disappointed. Our tour started off a bit rainy, so we were provided with ponchos. Our tour guide, AJ, set an easy pace that our 9 year old could keep up with. We rode along Lake Michigan and up into the Gold Coast neighborhood, which was decked out for Halloween. We had a wonderful lunch of deep-dish pizza, including a gluten free pizza for me. We continued to ride and eat our way through Chicago in a fun and memorable experience. The bike ride was almost all flat so nobody struggled. This was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip.

5.00I was unsure about biking in Chicago but Nora made it easy. I am also not a city person and normally avoid them but this tour took me to places that I would not have seen or even thought to see while visiting. It really helped me be much more comfortable being in the city and walking around over the next couple days. Kind of like an ice breaker for me. My family very much enjoyed the food and sites. Thank you.

5.00AJ was an amazing tour guide. Good instructions before the ride for safety and tips. Almost too much food to eat!! We had a great time seeing different areas of the shoreline part of the city. Our youngest was 12 and our oldest was 57, and we all were able to comfortably complete the tour.

5.00My 18 year old daughter and I went on this excursion. A.J. was our guide and he was patient, kind, and funny! It was fantastic. We are in decent shape--not bikers tho, and it was perfect. Not too hard and lots of stops. Food was fun and we got lots of background and history. We saw more sites than I was expecting! It's a good thing to do at the beginning of your trip because you can kind of decide what you want to do with the rest of your time in the city. They give you one water to start. I would bring another with you!
