Context: we live and London and have watched many shows over there they were spectacular in songs, dancing, costumes, lights, effects and orchestra. Then, full of excitement, we booked tickets for this show in Broadway last night. First , the theatre is worse than a church theatre. A school assembly arena is better equipped, with larger seats. But that could have been ok if the shows was ….a show worthy of the expectation. No lighting effect, no costumes (same across entire duration), embarrassing sense of humor of the script … orchestra was good and it was truly the only reason we endured until break. At break, we left. Don’t waist money!

Lovely, old fashioned playhouse small but intimate. Great seats after box office lady felt sorry for our booked through Trip Advisor ones. Probably all seats have a good view though. Love the songs in Chigago and the cast and band did justice to them. Choreography excellent as was the energy. Velma Kelly ( Bianca Marroquin) was outstanding. Loved Amos and Billy Flynn too (Raymond Bokhour and Tam Mutu. Free programme but heard drinks were very expensive. Great night out

Great broadway show. Very energetic and the cast were excellent. Lots of memorable songs and humour. A bit racey so if that bothers you I wouldn’t recommend. One note of caution they sell wine in a plastic reusable cup while you’re sitting in the theatre. With the exchange it was $55! My fault for not asking but they also didn’t tell me the price.

Visiting Broadway is immersing yourself in the best of American theater life. Chicago is one of the works I wanted to see for a long time and enjoys watching the life of Chicago in the 1920s with those musical numbers that are never forgotten with their beautiful scenery, the magnificent singers with their jazz music, everything is wonderful to live on stage.

Great show with great seats, we could see everything with no restrictions. Well worth going to see. What was not so good was the price of 2 wines in plastic Chicago cups $95 shocking !!

It was my first time to go to NY.If I would have been to NY I wanted to go to Broadway to see Chicago. I was the third seat from the front so I could see the facial expression of actors and actresses. It was very beautiful and exciting! And the end of the musical the actress threw the roses for the audience , and I caught it. It was a great experience like a dream!

I admit this was the fourth time I saw the show. And it wasn't the best experience. The performance lacked energy and engagement, especially from the dancers. The singers looked like they were tired. I know it's a giga demanding task to go on stage 8 times a week. But on Friday night they should have almost canceled. We pay full price and have high expectations. Then the ‘chef’ must also take his/her responsibility.
