Had a wonderful experience exploring Chinatown with Roy. He shared many interesting stories about the struggles and resilience of Singapore’s early immigrants, which made the history feel very real. The tour was informative, well-paced and gave me a much deeper appreciation of Chinatown’s heritage.

The Chinatown walking tour in Singapore was a really enjoyable and laid-back experience for me as a couple. In June, the weather was quite warm and humid, but walking through the shaded streets and stopping at different spots made it manageable and still very pleasant. I liked how the guide brought Chinatown to life through stories about its heritage, culture, and traditions. We got to see a mix of temples, traditional shops, and vibrant street scenes, which made the whole area feel very authentic and full of character. It wasn’t rushed at all, so we had time to take photos, explore little corners, and just soak in the atmosphere together. Overall, it felt like a simple but meaningful way to experience Singapore’s culture more closely while enjoying a relaxed walk through Chinatown.

We had a great Chinatown walking Tour with our very knowledgeable guide Ping who gave us a great overview of the history and many interesting places within the quarter. Ping also gave many insights that just a local can give including some nice food recommendations for the local hawker centers. We can absolutely recommend the tour! And don’t miss to make use of the opportunity visiting the Chinatown Heritage Centre for just 1 SGD per person if you joined the tour with Monster Day Tours.
