  The tour was amazing, Fontella took her time in explaining the history of the Bahamas Islands and the sights we visited. All the sights that I wanted to visit were included. I will definitely do this tour again.

  Probably my favorite tour I’ve ever been on. This felt vibrant and authentic and was affordable. I walked away feeling truly connected to the Bahamian people. The owner is deeply inspiring and passionate about her country. She is former Miss Bahama, an island legend, a fierce entrepreneur and friends with every single person on the island. We went to so many cool places but I really preferred to just sit on the bus and listen to her talk. This tour gave us a real authentic raw and beautiful look at the Bahamian culture. From the wealthiest areas to the most impoverished, it all was deeply moving. Do not miss this.

  Chippies was an excellent way to tour the island. We showed up early, and while the tour guides showed up a little late, they were worth the wait. Fonzy was our guide, and she was awesome! Her tour trolly is "Becky", named after her Grandmother. She was gracious and interactive. Her knowledge of history and all the landmarks were very informed. She made us all feel like family. My husband has ALS and while we were on vacation, he experienced terrible fatigue. She was extremely helpful and kind. He couldn't do the walking part of our tour, so she took us on a private tour while others explored Atlantis. Too, seeing his need she managed to drop us off early and directly at the Port. She reminded us how kind people can be, and she made our trip very special. You will be approached by many vendors for tours. We highly recommend Chippies. Best tour and tour guide on this beautiful island. If you are handicapped, this should be included when making your reservation with Chippies to ensure they can accommodate. We know this was a special kindness shown as we had all intentions of participating in the walking parts of the tour. Thank you Fonzy!!

• A Must Do Tour in Nassau

  Fonzie picked us up on time with a beyond positive attitude and welcoming energy! She brought us to several spots in Nassau including Atlantis. She was very knowledgeable on some of the history of the area and has a great love for her Bahamian family and neighbors. This is a tour you don't want to miss!

  My family booked this tour for 3 people all together. Upon arrival we were told we would not be able to take the tour together. We declined and were told we would receive a refund. I find this to be very inconvenient when this tour is what our family had planned for the day.

  Chippies was an amazing tour!! We would do it all over again. Our outstanding tour guide Fonzie was so knowledgeable and very informative. She has a very bubbly personality, beautiful inside and out!. Every body knows her and she makes you feel like you belong in the Bahamas. It was a great experience, you won't regret it.

  Comfortable open air bus tour around Nassau. Quick stop for sample of Rum Cake, then another for Conch fritters. Saw parts of town I hadn’t known. They provided water and was able to accommodate a folding electric mobility scooter. Took walk-up customers for less $ than booking price.

  #Julian Nairn was our host. Cruise on Carnival Elation: We waited at the Straw Market for our pick up and when Julian arrived he informed us, in a very Unusual twist of normalcy/ we were his only guests for that morning. The afternoon session was sold out- And, we thought there goes my plan. But- Julian did not abandon our booking. No- He gave us a great 2.5 hour tour to places we had not visited on prior cruise visits. This was a very memorable tour with a lot of attention to Paradise Island area of Nassau. Of course, we took in the various Historical sites and I did the adventure climb at the Queens Staircase as well. Julian was very personable and a great diplomat to the Bahamas. We saw other tour operators, with heavy tint windows arrive to the cruise port, but our open air vehicle allowed for very easy viewing. We were blessed with 80 degree weather and this was a fun alternative to the standard packed and enclosed tour bus.
