What To Expect
We will pick you up from your respective hotel around 0800-0900hrs in the morning. We drive to the Chobe National Park in our luxury game viewing jeep. Chobe national Park is home to bountiful animals that encompass lions, buffaloes, elephants and impalas. The two hour game drive through the Park pathways will give you opportunity sheer opportunity to be up close and personal with animals from the closest point while our experienced, humorous and fun guide explains to you on the lifestyles of these animals. Around noon it will be time to retire for lunch at the Old House Restuarant along the Chobe River where each of us will choose what to have for the day.
After lunch on full stomachs its time for a relaxed boat safari in the Chobe River. On a boat we sail the Chobe River, home to hippos, crocodiles and amazing birdlife.We will have the chance to see abundant wildlife from the boat, as they come drink in the Chobe River and graze the floodplains during dry season. Elephants can also be spotted swimming the river.

5.00My wife and I engaged Moonlight Safaris, a locally, family owned and operated safari company, following careful research of our options for our visit to the Chobe National Park. It proved to be the right decision. Moss, the tour guide, is a walking encyclopaedia on the African bush. Lunch provided by his sister, Naledi (Amanda), was tasty and wholesome. We did four game drives with them: two full day, one six hour and one three hour. They also arranged a three hour photographic river cruise for us. If you want a more personable, reasonably priced, tailored approach to your next visit to Chobe, you would do well to use them.

5.00It was a great day today , Bigi from Moonlight Safari was a great guide indeed. We saw many wild animals. Even, lunch was delicious too in a picnic area. Also, managed to see beautiful birds as well. It was ann excellent day.

5.00They conveniently picked us from the hotel. The lunch was excellent, buffet style food (ice cream anyone?) Saw 12 distinct animals. The operator was pleasant and funny. Overall a wonderful experience.

5.00I just say amazing because of the organisation, treatment and knowledge of the tour guide and staff. They organise the accomodation if you want and pick you up from any place in town. Moonlight uses new 4WD vehicles very comfortable. The tour guide was able even to find a leopard, apart from elephants, giraffes, antilopes, hippos, crocodiles.....
