It was nice that they were able to get me across the border from Zambia into Chobe and back and I appreciated the fact that lunch was included in the tour price. We saw lots of elephants, impala, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, and baboons.

From pick-up to drop-off, this was a fantastic tour. So much coordination went into making our day special, from the drivers, to the guides, to the organized lunch. We couldn’t have had a better day. The game drive was a success ( we saw a lion) and the water portion was just as great. Overall, an excellent tour that I would highly recommend. Kudos to the entire team!

It's a long trip from Livingstone, but definitely worth it. The team hand you off between organisers until you reach your guide for the day, but it all works fine. The safari vehicle was a bit squeaky but you expect rustic on a trip like this. The guide was really good with interesting info about the animals and answered all our questions, from big mammals down to dung beetles. The boat ride was enjoyable and not at all scary. The elephants were plentiful and really close. I'd go again.

Our driver, kendrick, working for Ramjet safaris, picked is up at our hotel at the due time. He was very friendly, informative and a good driver. He took us to the border (from Zambia to Botswana) seeing us safely through the immigration process promising to wait for our return. (Immigration involves going through two systems: being stamped out of Zambia and then into Botswana). He then handed us over to a colleague who took us to the rendezvous point in the Chobe bush. This involved being ferried across the Zambezi river. This whole journey offered brilliant experiences in culture/environment/infra structure. The ferry point was also a major crossing point for heavy lorries. To this date the lorries are being ferried over 1/2 at a time on the only one working, open ferry (see photos). The lorry ferry operates from 6am-6pm. This causes a bottleneck of lorries with the current wait time of two weeks. Just imagine companies waiting for stock during this delay and the loss of labour while the drivers wait with their lorries. The North Koreans were commissioned to build what looks a great bridge at this point which is due to be finished sometime in 2020. The Botswanans are building a new road on their side ready for the traffic once the bridge opens. Our safari consisted of a small boat ride in the morning and 4x4 ride in the afternoon offering close up examination of loads of animals. To name a few: elephants, buffalos, antelope, hippopotamus, crocodiles, water monitors, impalas, baboons, monkeys, lots of beautiful birds etc. Our driver gave regular informative, commentary and was able to easily locate the animals. We were provided with regular drinks and water. A delicious buffet lunch was also included in the price. We felt well looked after during the whole trip and it was so reassuring to see Kendrick smiling face waiting for us in the ‘lorry park’ on our return journey. We would highly recommend this safari to others. Two points to note: We booked the trip with Ramjet Safaris, yet the safari in Chobe NP was conducted by Logan Safaris. Although the website and our e ticket stated breakfast was included it was not. This was disappointing as we could have had breakfast arranged at our hotel. Overall though a great experience.

We started just with an airport transfer, but ended up arranging the Victoria Falls Devil’s Pool tour and Day trip to Chobe NP with Frank. We had a good time, they were well organized and timely, and very kind.
