Chochołow Thermal Baths are the largest thermal complex in Podhale region. The water in pools is extracted from a depth of nearly 3600 metres below the ground and is rich in nutrients such as sulphur, magnesium, sodium or calcium - said to have beneficial influence on health medically and therapeutically. In total there is over 30 swimming pools with the temperature of water raging from 32 to 36 degrees Celsius. Water barrels are situated both indoors and outdoors. Spending the time there in the evening can be a really relaxing experience.

What To Expect
There are 3 hours in the evening to be spent at thermal baths and pools of the Chocholow Thermal Baths complex. What makes it even more enjoable is the panoramic view of Tatra Mountains which surrounds the complex and can be observed while taking a swim. Thermal Baths are a good idea for families, couples and anyone who wants to relax or improve their health and strength. The complex provide different attractions such as water basketball, volleyball, waterfalls, wild river, inflatable slides and many more - however some of them are available only in summer season. There are zones designed specially for children. Also, hungry stomachs can be filled during the visit in the restaurant inside. Please note that if you want to use saunas additionally, the complex' regulations state that it is obligatory to enter them undressed. Also there are 3 hours in total so that includes the time for change before and after the bath.

5.00We did the morning trip to the thermal baths. Our driver Matthew was amazing! He picked us up from our hotel and checked us in to the spa, gave us lots of information about the local area and recommended places for us to eat and drink whilst in Krakow. The thermal spa was fantastic! We were very impressed with this trip. Great value for money too!

5.00For the price, it's an incredible bargain. We had 3 hours inside but that was more than enough for us. Even though the ride was long at 2ish hours, Michal was extremely helpful and kept us entertained throughout. He told us all about the area and the best things to see. We wouldn't have survived the trip without him! Once you get inside, the views are amazing. Plus if you come in summer, it'll be quieter so definitely recommend then. Definitely worth coming for the viewing alone. Would definitely come back the next time I'm in Poland!

5.00Booked as a group trip to help recover a little bit after a busy weekend, we were at the experience for 3hrs total - this was plenty time to change, explore, eat and relax. We visited on a Sunday PM when the weather had been nice so there were around 1k-1.5k people there and it did not feel over crowded at all. Transfer, admission and locker fees were all included in the tickets we bought and when you're there you only pay for food/drinks and any towels you need to hire (only 10 zloty). It is more of a water park than a spa in the general admission areas, but there were quieter spaces/saunas and 16+/18+ areas. Journey from Krakow should not be underestimated though - it took just under 2hrs each way on a Sunday evening with good traffic but this was managed really well by our driver, Michael. Michael was great - he provided all the information we needed on the way to the Baths so it was clear how to get around & what to do once we got in, shared some tips with us on where to start and what we shouldn't miss (whilst also giving us peace to enjoy the ride after!). Would highly recommend the team, and the trip if you're looking for a bit more of a chill experience when visiting!
