Chochołow Thermal Baths are the largest thermal complex in Podhale region. The water in pools is extracted from a depth of nearly 3600 metres below the ground and is rich in nutrients such as sulphur, magnesium, sodium or calcium - said to have beneficial influence on health medically and therapeutically. In total there is over 30 swimming pools with the temperature of water raging from 32 to 36 degrees Celsius. Water barrels are situated both indoors and outdoors. Spending the time there in the evening can be a really relaxing experience.

What To Expect
There are 3 hours in the evening to be spent at thermal baths and pools of the Chocholow Thermal Baths complex. What makes it even more enjoable is the panoramic view of Tatra Mountains which surrounds the complex and can be observed while taking a swim. Thermal Baths are a good idea for families, couples and anyone who wants to relax or improve their health and strength. The complex provide different attractions such as water basketball, volleyball, waterfalls, wild river, inflatable slides and many more - however some of them are available only in summer season. There are zones designed specially for children. Also, hungry stomachs can be filled during the visit in the restaurant inside. Please note that if you want to use saunas additionally, the complex' regulations state that it is obligatory to enter them undressed. Also there are 3 hours in total so that includes the time for change before and after the bath.

4.00We had a great time at the baths and was glad after 3 days of walking around Krakow . Oskar was a great driver and the communication was great. Just 1 thing that it would have been nice to know what was there for us, when we got there, we didn’t know where to go. We actually missed part of it as when speaking to others they said they had done the salt bath’s which we didn’t even know existed. Maybe a map or a more detail before you got there would’ve helped. Well worth a visit though.

5.00Michal was fab! He took us to the thermal baths and explained how to navigate the area beforehand. He was on time and very clear with his instructions. Would definitely recommend Legendary Krakow for a tour!

5.00Amazing experience! Good price for what you get, and 3 hours is a good length of time to visit. It was fairly busy with crowds but didn’t affect us doing anything :) would definitely do again and recommend! Oskar drove us and was very kind, helpful and friendly 😊

5.00Absolutely loved the whole experience. Clear instructions given from our guide Michael from start to finish. It was a long drive but worth it. Michael fed us all some facts on the way, gave us tips to make sure we got the best out of our time at the baths as it can get busy and was so friendly. Highly recommened this activity.

5.00Our trip to the thermal baths was amazing, and a huge part of that was down to our driver/guide Michael. He was incredibly informative, sharing interesting facts about the thermal baths along the way. It made the journey feel like a mini tour in itself. On top of that, he was so funny and personable – he kept everyone laughing and made us feel completely comfortable. The whole experience felt well organised and relaxed, with clear instructions and perfect timing. If you’re considering this trip, definitely go for it – and hope you get him as your guide!
