After registration, the meeting point is at the Käfigturm. Then you walk through the old town. On the way, you can enjoy Bern's chocolate history. You will be served well-known chocolates. At the shop of a small chocolatier, you will also receive a box with a selection of award-winning chocolates.
Conching was developed in Bern and has become the standard method for making chocolate worldwide. This is Bern's most important chocolate history, but at the same time it is also the least known. By being shown the conching technique, you will learn the true story of today's chocolate (melted chocolate).
At the end, you will have seen the old town of Bern from a sweet perspective. Each guest must then decide for themselves whether Bern was a chocolate capital or whether the claim is just marketing.

The tour with Felix was a great time. He has a passion for chocolate and love of the city; he taught us a lot about both. He had a wide variety of pre-packaged chocolates, beverages, and we got chocolates from a local chocolate shop. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had the best time on this chocolate tour. Felix was so kind and his knowledge of the local chocolate (and just chocolate in general) really made our day. We really enjoyed the Ragusa and brought some home with us, along with some from the shop, Nobile, he showed us. We came for our honeymoon and enjoyed our sweet stay!! Thank you Felix!! - Caroline and Alton from Alabama, USA

The chocolate tour with Felix was a great experience. We are at home near Bern, but we learned a lot about the origin of chocolate in Switzerland and Bern today. Felix imparts his knowledge in an entertaining and exciting way. The chocolate tasting is great, and the degu mug from Casa Nobile is wonderful. We can highly recommend the tour and thank Felix again for the entertaining 2 hours with him.

Félix was a wonderful guide, and has encyclopedic knowledge of the area and its chocolate history. A very enjoyable chocolate walk with delicious samples. Well organized and very thoughtfully arranged!

It was extremely disappointing. We made the journey and waited, but no tour guide ever turned up. I was travelling with two young children, which made the situation even more difficult. We also met other tourists from America who were waiting as well. I still have not received my refund, and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

This tour was great! We got a good sense of Bern’s city history and an eye opening and tasty history of chocolate production and Bern’s role in it. It was a gorgeous day to enjoy all of the sites we were taken to by our guide/owner. His knowledge and generosity made this a highlight tour among the several we took on our two week trip.
