Guide
We will climb one of the most famous mountains in the world, Corcovado, and find one of the 7 man-made wonders. This postcard from Rio de Janeiro would in itself place Rio de Janeiro under international attention. The view at the top is 360 degrees, and it is possible to admire all of Rio de Janeiro. During this tour we will visit the Tijuca forest and the historic Lage Park. Our guides not only know in detail the history of the monument, but also of the whole of Rio de Janeiro, as well as its participation and importance on the national scene. So in addition to good exercise, a lot of learning is included, as well as knowing all the things there are to do in the city. It will definitely be an unforgettable day. We climb/climb mountains daily: 2 brothers Christ Gávea Sugar Loaf

I was very fortunate to have Denis as my tour guide. He was exceptional. Incredibly chatty knew so much about the forest the animals and talk freely about life in Rio. I felt like I learnt a whole new side that you don’t get on a normal Tour and he is truly a sensational guy. The hike is beautiful and rewarding. I highly recommend this company. I also did the Sugarloaf rock climb the day before and it was just as rewarding lovely and lovely thank you thank you

Rafael was a great guide! A true adventurer at heart who fears neither the rain nor hiking in flip-flops, he is patient, likes to tell anecdotes and ensures that we are satisfied with our hike. I recommend !

Great hike with Raf, in a very peaceful environment (except for the constant helicopter noises in the sky…). It felt great to reach the Corcovado while avoiding the crazy crowds that you find at the summit.

Really beautiful hike with what feels like a quasi-total immersion in the Tijuca forest (if it weren't for the noise from helicopters flying overhead around Christ the Redeemer). We went up an alternative route that was more challenging but worth it. Rafael is very knowledgable about the area so you'll also get to learn a lot about the forest's history from its colonial days to now, as well as details about the monument itself.

Great time with Rafael and amazing hike! Definitely for experience hikers! But he was very patient and kept our group at a great pace. Super nice and informative! Took great pics of us. And a once in a lifetime journey to the Christ! Loved it! Felt like I can accomplish anything after! Bring lots of water and dress appropriately to hike up the mountain! A great time overall!! We decided to take the train on our way down.

This hike to Christ the Redeemer (approximately 500m elevation gain) was a great experience! The guide, Rafael, was very friendly and attentive. He also gave us some anecdotes.

Raf is a great tour guide. We met at the entrance to Tijuca national park and went through the grounds to the start of the trail. He was able to provide us with some very interesting details about the area and the surrounding wildlife. The hike itself is was great fun, it’s very steep and not an accessible route and I would definitely recommend a reasonable level of fitness. Once we got to the top we sadly weren’t rewarded with amazing 360 views of Rio due to the cloud cover, but Raf had some photos of previous climbs on his phone and was able to show us the view and point out landmarks that way. Really recommend doing this hike with Raf!
