Andrea was excellent. Professional and efficient. Nice guy with a good vibe and sense of humour. Gave the small group some flexibility in our options. Great driver. Wonderful tour. Could not recommend highly enough.

We had an incredible time exploring Cinque Terre and Pisa with this small group (just 4 of us total) and our awesome and fun guide, Claudius! He shared with us all sorts of facts on the region and culture and history during our drive, was very accommodating to our schedule and desires of what the group wanted to do, and bonus super personable and funny! Cinque Terre was beautiful and the food was amazing, it was great to have someone to show us around and take away the difficulty of navigating a new spot on our own so we could truly just enjoy our experience! Highly recommend this tour to check out some other beautiful spots near Florence if you have time.

We had a wonderful trip with our guide Claudius. We had a very full day moving from one village to the next and onto Pisa. Claudius was a wealth of historical information and each story was engaging and informative. He made our day very special by guiding us through the villages, pointing out the best shops for gelato and setting up a beautiful and delicious lunch next to the sea and a beautiful medieval church built in 1308. This is a must-do all-day tour!

Gabrielle (FIVE STARS)…..tour overall was not a great experience. One of the guest that did the tour with us was very disrespectful with everyone else’s time. She complained about something the entire time and ruined our experience. We tried to enjoy it as much as possible. Gabrielle was very patient with her and professional. I really wish we would have kicked her off the van at the beginning of the day!

Our driver and Guide, Alberto was wonderful. He spoke perfect English and described the countryside during the drive but was not too talkative. Each town he pointed out areas and landmarks then let us wander at our pace. Perfect day!

The towns of Cinque Terre are more beautiful than you can really describe and are definitely worth a visit. If your schedule allows I would definitely recommend this tour. My wife and I wanted to visit the area while staying in Florence and did not want to hassle with actually staying in one of the towns with luggage and everything. This tour was a perfect alternative. We had time for lunch, a few snacks, some shopping and plenty of time to just take in the beauty of the area. Be advised you start and end in Riomaggiore, necessitating a steep lengthy walk downhill upon arrival and the reverse on the departure. Those with any mobility issues should plan accordingly, it was definitely a strenuous walk back up the hill, but also worth it if you can manage. Our tour guide provided a great overview of the day as we were heading out and was very informative along the way. The what to expect description of this tour is very accurate and closely followed our day. Our driver stayed with us through much of the day, riding all forms of transportation and ensuring everyone arrived at the next place.

We had a great experience from the start to the end, our host Alberto, a very acknowledge person of all the city’s we passed by gave us an outstanding experience on the history of Cinque Terre and the city’s as we passed them by.. He also gave us a very good tour of Cinque Terre as we jump from city to city. He recommended a restaurant that was very delicious for a taste of Cinque Terre food. Gabriele met us promptly at the door of The Grand Hotel Cavour. We enjoyed a nice ride to and from Cinque Terra and Pisa. Gabriele was a great driver who knew the routes, a good stop for Water Closets and cappuccinos, along the way, narrating the sites along the route: the location of the largest Chinatown in Europe, marble mining sites, the navy base near Cinque Terra. There were no surprises! This was the first day of low season and all of the seasonal changes didn’t give us one pause. Gabriele was prepared! He knows his business. I especially enjoyed his insights about the amazing natural scenery approaching Cinque Terra. He took us on a sea cliff walk where I observed the sea and crashing surf, gilds, cormorants, and robins. We enjoyed a nice meal and continued our tour seeing Riomaggiore, Manarola, and Vernazza. Then we drove to Pisa where we bought tickets to tour the leaning tower. What a great day. Thank you Gabriele

We absolutely loved our day trip to Cinque Terre and Pisa! The scenery was breathtaking, and everything was perfectly organized. Our guide was very considerate and knowledgeable — he explained everything clearly and made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable throughout the day. It was truly a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of our one-week stay in Florence. Highly recommended!
