Semi-Private Small-Group (up to 8 people) Cinque Terre and Pisa leaning tower tour in a Black Mercedes Minivan.

Only in a small group, it becomes possible to visit the Cinque Terre and experience all the true magic of this enchanted coastline. We will visit 3 of the 5 villages on Cinque terre, using trains and boat. Usually the towns we visit are Riomaggiore, Manarola and Vernazza.

You can hike, it you wish to, from Riomaggiore to Manarola. 1 hour hike (this is subject to availability based on weather/danger). The driver will follow you by boat/train. Public boats also operate subject to weather conditions and along the Cinque Terre from April until about the 3rd week of October.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

If you're planning on going hiking, you need to be prepared – although the path is open to everyone, remember that the ground can be slippery, uneven, and in places steep and narrow

Please wear suitable walking shoes, don't forget your swimsuit and towel if you want to take a swim

The driver/guide will thoroughly introduce the places being visited, from a cultural, historical and artistic viewpoint while driving to and from them, but is not licensed to give explanations at sights or guide inside churches, or museums.You will have free time in the villages

I am glad to visit Cinque Terre. Transportation was fairly easy. The vender arranged pickup at a hotel closer to the original meeting point. Our driver was friendly, conscientious and oh so helpful. He saved the day when my husband lost his phone. The tour was not educational/ historical which would have made 5 stars. There were some details lost in translation about walking paths ( vs hiking hills) around the villages. Once we figured it out we were able to explore more thoroughly. Walk the paths if you are able! The trip was expensive, and did including lunch/ snack. That said, I am grateful for the opportunity to visit such a beautiful UNESCO site.

Such amazing sites in Cinque Terre. Our guide Andrea was so informative and kept us safe all day long. There is a lot of stairs and walking - every step was worth the views that you get to see !!

We had a wonderful day with Frankie as our guide/driver. He made the whole experience very enjoyable and provided informative explanations throughout the day. Overall, beautiful scenery, very friendly guide/driver and the chance to learn more of life in Italy.

Tour guide Frankie was excellent and very pleasant to spend the day with. Since we were picked up very early in the morning, he offered to stop along the way to Cinque Terre for food and coffee. He offered to take pictures of us at various times and also offered to show us hikes we could do to get the best pictures. He was very informative and the 3 cities we went to in Cinque Terre were wonderful. Time in each city is dictated by the train schedule. He was always willing to answer questions and provide wonderful insight on places we passed. Water was provided throughout the day. Lots of walking and stair climbing is required. Climb up to the top of Pisa tower was wonderful and well worth it. No tickets are provided for Pisa, you just get to see the tower. If you buy tickets ahead of time to climb the tower, wait to see if the weather agrees with the tour and the minimum number of people required for the tour is achieved. Pisa tickets are not date transferable. I ended up buying 2.
