Jacob was great. He provided a lot of information and his English was excellent and easy to understand. Totally worth the trip to see these sights and learn about the area. Thanks Jacob!

I had the most wonderful day with Yaris and a small group of tourists. He was nothing but wonderful start to finish. Knowledgeable, courteous, timely and just a wonderful human being. I saw Cinqua Terre and felt so safe and comfortable. I had the most fulfilling day and left with a taste of more. We took the ferry, trains, walked a short while and got incredible tips on where to go at our free time. Yaris explained everything we saw but not too much. It was perfect. Thank you, Yaris and Viator

The view of the villages via the boat ride. The villages were quaint and colorful. Our guide was very personable and jovial. Jacob was a great guide.

Good communication prior to between company and us. Jacob was a good driver and car was clean and comfortable. He was very nice and spoke loudly. I’d give him 4 stars. All that said, for the money, it was way too expensive. Other than some general information, we paid $250 per person but felt more like just transportation. It didn't feel like the guide was as informative as he should have been. Our expectations were different I guess. Also, please tell Jacob never to recommend Belforte in Vernazza again! He said it was the “best” and the finest” in Vernazza and it definitely is NOT! Very expensive tourist trap and we had an awful experience there. We would have been better off at a small cafe anywhere. Unbelievably Rude service, horrible food and vulgar waiter. Jacob said to get the spaghetti with clams. I did. Half of the clams were closed. Told the waiter and he said it’s fine to eat. It is NEVER ok to eat closed clams. And the clams that were open and edible had no meat, they were beyond tiny. What a waste of our good money and time. So please tell Jacob to not recommend as the “best”, he could say go for the view but not the food or service. I looked online earlier and it seems I am not alone in this assessment.

A tour guide can make or break your tour. Our guide was Jacob and we all felt blessed that we got him all day to guide us. Jacob is knowledgeable, and a true joy to spend a day with traverserseing the beautiful landscapes of Cinque Terre! His attention to the details, and his unique style of customer service made us feel pampered even in poring rain.
