Santa Claus Village
Discover the charming city of Rovaniemi and meet Santa Claus in his village office. This tour is an excellent opportunity to immerse in the local culture and go on guided sightseeing. Welcome to Rovaniemi, the Capital of Finnish Lapland and the most popular winter resort! Let us take you through the town and show you the most exciting places. Learn more about Finnish history, discover the city's highlights and find out how can you make the most out of your holiday in Rovaniemi. This charming town is best known as the official home of Santa Claus, where Christmas magic lives year round. After the sightseeing, we will travel to the countryside, to the official village of Santa Claus. There we'll take you to meet Santa Claus in his office. He's usually busy packing presents and sharing Christmas joy, but you will have an exclusive chance of meeting him while he's on the break! Of course, he would never complete all his work without the help of his elves. Not only they make toys in their workshop, but they also work in the Elves' Post Office. We'll take you to the Posti, an Official Santa's Post Office where you can write letters to friends and send them using unique Arctic Stamp. Send your friends holiday cheer straight from the Arctic Circle! After the post office, it's time for the Arctic Circle Crossing ceremony. The Arctic Circle runs through Rovaniemi, and you can cross it right there in Santa’s Village. The legend says that Arctic Circle is a stress-free zone and that the northern you go the happier you become. The fun part is getting the certificate of the crossing. And of course we will have time for souvenirs and shops, there are a lot of them! The Santa Village is rightly called the best place for shopping in Rovaniemi.

5.00We had a lovely tour with Tanya. Her style of storytelling really brought Santa Village alive for us. She also shared a lot of interesting facts about life in Rovaniemi and Finland in general. She was very nice and thoughtful throughout, and helped us with some great photos! The tour was well-planned overall - we had just the right amount of time for the various activities and got a lot of useful tips and guidance from Tanya.

5.00Our guide Victor was amazing. He actually spoke more than 3 languages very well. He was very considerate, helpful and very nice. City tour is good but santas village is just amazing.

5.00Enjoyed seeing and learning about the city as we were staying outside the city in Glass resort. Especially enjoyed the view from the top of the mountain/ski slopes. Christmas village was a lot of fun and we enjoyed the post office and Santa visit. We also did the reindeer pulled sleigh ride and visited the husky farm while we were there which made for a fun afternoon in a one of a kind place in Lapland. Would hi ff my recommend any and all booking with Nordic Adventures as we did a multiple bookings with them and were 100% satisfied with each one from booking process to finishing the tour.

5.00We were lucky to be just the two of us on this tour. Alex & his mate Pedro were extremely hospitable & shared loads of information during the tour, including about the kind of life lead by the local citizens. Since my wife was very eager to spend more time at Santa Village & less in the city, we decided to do that as there was nobody else with us on that day. We got to enjoy a delicious grilled salmon at the 'Salmon Place' & on the way back from Santa Village, Alex was very kind enough to take us to a nice secluded frozen lake, just to experience Lapland's nature at its best. Both Alex & Pedro took very good care of us & ensured they made this tour most memorable for me & my wife. I cannot thank them enough for doing so & we shall never forget our experience standing on the frozen lake & enjoying the beautiful views.

He was knowledgeable and friendly and we could not have been happier. Alex (frim the office) was very helpful during the decision/booking process.
