Just a heads-up, there's about an hour drive before the first stop. If you're tall, the legroom is a bit cramped. Each stop lasts around 20-30 minutes, but that can be shorter if people are late. Our guide, Gio, was awesome—super informative and patient! One highlight was Mel's Drive-In, but it gets pretty busy, so you’ll need to eat quickly during the hour you have there. Overall, it's a fun option if you have a late flight after a cruise.

We were all set to love this tour based on previous reviews. However, it had some pros and lots of cons. We were picked up at the San Pedro Cruise Terminal. Disembarkation was a delayed and the van did wait for us. However, there were six people on the van who had been picked up earlier at hotels in the area and had been waiting in the van for almost an hour. They were annoyed and I can't blame them. There were a total of twelve of us on the van and the van was unable to accommodate our luggage and the luggage of the other two couples on the van. Lots of confusion about how this was going to be handled. That further delayed the beginning of our tour. The driver, Gabriel, was not welcoming and was just plain annoying. Yes, he had lived in the LA area all or most of his life, but the information he provided was disjointed, repetitive and not really informative. He was a terrible driver...we counted four red lights that he just sailed through. In truth, he reminded me of my brother when he has been drinking. Was Gabriel drinking? I don't know but his narrative led several of us to wonder. I do have to say that Gabriel was very helpful with my husband's folding electric scooter and a wheelchair for another passenger. We enjoyed stopping at several sites (LA Coliseum, Griffith Park, Hollywood Blvd & Venice Beach) and lunch at Mel's Diner was good. However, we seem to have driven through so many areas which weren't really necessary. Most of us on the bus were just really wanted to take an Uber back to our hotels/airport and not even finish the tour. Would I recommend this company/tour? Maybe if it were a different driver. But, the driver for the other tour that was following us did not even know what she was doing and would stop and ask our driver about the next stop, where to park, how long to stay, etc. I can't imagine that tour was very informative either.

An excellent tour of LA and surrounds that encompassed all the notable sites that any tourist wants to see. John was a very knowledgeable and an excellent tour guide who kept us all entertained and interested with his extensive stories about LA. This tour is a must do for anyone spending a short time in LA to see all the main sites for a great price! I had done one of these tours 7 years ago with a different company and this was hands down more informative and we visited more sites. Great value!
