  Out gondola reservation was set for 6 pm and we waited at the site for 10 minutes and nobody showed up. Then agent told us he left and there was another person at same spot and she had same reservation. We did get let onto one boat after complaining because we were leaving next day. Ride was also super short and felt we only went a couple of canals and then back to start point:

  This is a shared experience which means if you don’t fill up a gondola you could be riding with strangers. This was not communicated on the Viator advertisement for booking. Also, gondolas only hold 5 people, so if you have a party of more than that, you will be separated. That wasn’t shared either. The day of our excursion we arrived early for our 5 pm ride and it started to drizzle. I asked if we could wait and I was told by our guide that it wasn’t going to rain long and that it would be worse at 6. So we listened to her. We weren’t on the gondola for more than 4 mins when it began to pour. The water was extremely chopping the gondola was rocking like crazy and even our “driver” made noises reacting to the conditions so we asked to turn around. We were soaked. Literally dripping from head to toe. It was even hard getting out of the gondola because the water was so choppy from the heavy rain. I immediately requested a refund since we weren’t able to compete or enjoy the ride due to inaccurate information provided and was denied. I would be very leery when booking with this company. Safety doesn’t seem to be a priority or ensuring even a decent experience.

  First, this is a shared experience. The advertisement doesn’t mention that. Once you arrive you could be placed on a gondola with strangers. Also, they don’t share that there’s a limit to the number of people per gondola. I thought we’d be on with 6 ppl as I wasn’t informed that we wouldn’t all be on one. At the time of our ride is when we were informed of all of this. The day of we arrived 20 mins early and waited. It began to rain close to the time of our ride. It wasn’t a heavy rain but rain nonetheless. I asked the guide if we could wait until 6 pm and she stated that it wasn’t going to rain hard or long and that it would be worse at 6. So we proceeded to get on. We weren’t on the gondola more than 4 mins when it began to literally pour and the water was extremely choppy and even our gondola person made noises which we took as concern for how rough the waves were getting and the conditions so we asked to turn around. We were drenched from head to toe. Literally dripping water and freezing. I immediately requested a partial refund since we were not able to experience even half of the ride and was given bad information regarding the weather. Our request was denied with no explanation. I would be very leery with booking with this company. They aren’t upfront with all of the information and clearly don’t care about conditions or guests feeling safe while riding.

  The gondola experience was ok. The operator tried to get 90 Euros from us prior to starting the ride. I do not recommend alilgu... as your gondola ride choice.

  Honestly it says 30 minutes but we did only 20 minutes, the tour wasn’t long at all we just went through a small canal then went back to the big one to park the gonadola. A bit disappointed, not really worth it and they were late with the departure.

  Tricksters, the ride went no where near the Rialto Bridge or Campo Manin, as advertised in the ad, and the time spent on the grand canal is less than 10%.

  It was a fun Venice experience that everyone should do. However, it was very busy on the waterways causing a lot of traffic.
