• Don’t waste your time or money

  We met at 7pm, walked 6-10 minutes back the direction we came. Stood in line for another 5-8 minutes then got on our boat for a 15-20 minute ride. The boat operator was talking on the phone most of the time. An absolute waste of money!

  Little bit too short gondola trip, we expect that we would be 30 min on the boat but it was only 20 min because we have to be in a queue and get on the gondola that took 10 min.

  It was challenging to find the location to obtain the tickets perhaps better signage in future would aid this. This was supposed to be a 30min gondola ride commencing at 2pm. By the time we were crammed I to a gondola (there were 3 in our party and another couple) it was nearly 2.10. The gondola was leaning the whole time due to weight distribution. We set off from the Dock into the Grand Canal and then took a right into the very congested canal system. We did a circuit which was in effect a round the block manoeuvre back into the Grand Canal and then to the Dock. We aligted at 2.25pm. We wish we had just approached a Gondolier in one of the quieter areas where we could have had 30 mins trip in a non congested area exclusively. This was not the special experience we anticipated fir my Mother in laws birthday treat feel very dissappointed. I would recommend just paying a Gondolier for your ride they are all covered by a set pricing system and others in our tour group did this and had a private Gondola for the full agreed time period.

  Very short. Captain did not even say a word to us. Was on a phone call the entire time. This is a trap and I would not recommend

  Beware!!! This is not a private Gondola ride! They will pack you into groups of 5. Absolutely horrible! We canceled and found our own private gondola ride. Viator refused to refund us because the tour “doesn’t say private”... of course… it doesn’t say it’s a crowded group gondola ride either, but hey, they are in business to trick tourists. So no surprise… buyer beware.
