What To Expect
Fryes Beach features powder white sand and affords great views of Montserrat on exceptionally clear days. This is one of the most beautiful and quiet beaches on Antigua. During your half-day beach break, you will be able to stretch out, drink some cocktails and listen to local island tunes. You'll be visiting Ffryes Beach, which is known for its white sand and coconut palms. You can expect exceptional views of the area's beauty. For the energetic you can get active (or not) and participate in various water sports, kayaking, tubing snorkeling etc. You can swim or relax in the calm, crystal clear water or take a short boat ride out to gorgeous Cades Reef for snorkeling (at your own expense). Beach chairs and shared umbrella are also included. Lunch and a non-alcoholic welcome drink are included. Mamma Nancy entertains you with poetry and other fun cultural activities. Be entertained with island music on steel pan or from a reggae band nearby, before your beach serenity concludes. Please Note: Many different activities are available to you while at the beach at your own expense, make sure to bring cash with you if you plan to take part in any of the activities.

4.00We were at Ffryes beach, which was nice. The beach bar was ok, not much little shade. The pics made it all look much nicer than reality. The 4 of us did not want to stay more than a few hours. They wanted more $$ to bring us back earlier to our cruise ship.

5.00This experience was exactly as described. There were plenty of loungers and umbrellas and the beach was not crowded. The lunch was local and yummy! The live music added to our island experience. Definitely worth it!

5.00P was our driver and guide on our journey from port to Fryes Beach, which she said is the best beach and I'd have to agree. A lovely stretch of sandy shore and calm waters. The lunch provided was delicious (BBQ chicken sooo tender and juicy, rice, salad, and pineapple) plus a complimentary rum punch. Beers were 3 for $10US plus 2 shots of rum. The loungers and umbrellas were all well maintained and were included in the tour price. No horror stories here! P's commentary on the drive was informative and she stopped to pick "dumps" a small apple-like fruit for us to try.

5.00Beautiful beach. Proper installation, a little rudimentary but everything is there to spend an excellent day (deck chairs, shaded places, picnic tables). Affordable alcohol and decent lunch (for cruise group). We loved our day. The only criticism, too short as an organized tour.

5.00The beach is lovely, P, our driver was excellent, the picnic lunch provided was delicious! The price included pick up, drop off, beach lunch, and loungers & umbrellas! Three beers and two rum shots for $10 US. Perfect day at Fryes Beach Antigua.

5.00It was easy to meet our driver Kev near the pier where independent tours congregate. Kev was really nice and informative by the way. He drove us to the southern side of Antigua and we got to see a lot of that part of the island on the way. Ffryes beach is very beautiful - the area is almost undeveloped and we had the beach almost all to ourselves. White sand and great ocean. The bar and restaurant serving that part of the beach is not crowded and the food and drink were great. The staff was very nice and welcoming. An excellent beach day in Antigua!

1.00We showed up at the meeting spot ten minutes early. Waited ten minutes after. Guide was a no-show. Ended up in a cab to a beach. Don’t book.
