All of our guides complete an extensive training program that includes certification in First Aid and CPR. Also, many guides and all Trip Leaders have advanced accreditations such as a Wilderness First Responder Certification.
At Adventures Unlimited, the goal is to offer an array of adventures that will please the first-timer, adrenaline junkie, or a mix between the two. We place emphasis on facilitating fun and safe outdoor activities and unlimited adventures!

What To Expect
Once you arrive at our adventure resort in Ocoee, TN you will be greeted by our friendly staff and introduced to your whitewater guide and then the fun begins! Your guide will help you get geared up with PFD, helmet and paddle. Then we will load up for the short bus ride to the put-in of the Middle Section of the Ocoee River, the Nation’s most popular whitewater river. After a complete safety briefing and orientation, it’s time to hit the water. Your adventure will take us 5.5 miles down the mighty Ocoee River inside the beautiful Cherokee National Forest. Dropping over 270 feet during our trek we will challenge HUGE waves and tight turns which are typically met with monstrous smiles and roaring laughter all while taming Class III and IV rapids. After almost two hours of a soaked adrenaline experience, we will float into the take-out for our ride back to Adventures Unlimited. Your dry clothes await you as well as the photos from your Ocoee whitewater adventure. No experience is necessary for whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River and its perfect for groups of all sizes, but the minimum age is 12 years old.

5.00Our experience was AMAZING! We had called a couple of places, but the minute we spoke Jewels we knew this was the place to go!!! The staff is super fun yet still professional. Our guide Bob made this extra special with his sense of humor and deep knowledge of each and every turn of the river. An unforgettable experience with an amazing crew! If you are thinking about it, stop thinking and just do it!

He struck the perfect balance between teaching us how to be safe and encouraging us to have the most fun. He was super motivating and made communication so smooth and easy, even when we were going through the rapids. He was truly awesome and made our adventure a huge success. Highly recommend!

5.00I’m not a fan of water sports…but my wife convinced me. And it was such a FUN experience!!! Parts of me were a little timid with some of the rapids. But we had such a professional guide and a great group to boost morale and high five each other. This was such a fun adventure and it’s for the whole family! Highly recommend! Hopefully Bob is your guide 😎

5.00We did the mill a Koi rafting trip. We had a family of four ranging in age from 21 to 62 years old. The class three and four Rapids were great for an exciting trip! Our guide was very conscientious for our safety. Highly recommend this company.

5.00We went whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River and had an amazing time! Our guide, Paul K, was very skilled and knowledgeable. The ride was thrilling, but we always felt safe because we knew Paul K had it under control. The staff was courteous and kind, the equipment was good quality and the facilities were great (showers, changing rooms, cute restaurant and bar) and it was overall just a great experience. We will definitely go back!
