We did the classic tour with Jonas on a beautiful Tuesday morning. He oriented us to the bikes and city riding and expertly guided us around the museums, the river trail, downtown neighborhoods, old town, historic Philadelphia, 3 of the squares, all the while giving us history and information. It didn’t feel rushed. We stopped and chatted and had time to take pictures. Highly recommended as a great way to see the city and get fresh air and exercise.

Best experience I had in Philadelphia! Super interesting, well run and you don't need to be an expert bike rider. Strongly recommend!

What a great way to see Philadelphia! Our friends and family had an amazing time on the Classic Philadelphia City bike tour. The bikes were great, the ride was scenic, and our guides were very knowledable. It was super fun with Andrew and Lizzi-we learned a lot while laughing all the way.

It was a nice way to see the beautiful parks and neighborhoods of Philly and experience the busy city streets without getting stuck behind traffic. Not for those who want to go into the attractions but a great architecture, history and streetscape tour. Philly is very approachable on bike.

This was a great way to see Philadelphia! Rebecca was a wonderful guide! She kept us moving at a good pace and made sure we were safe throughout. She was knowledgeable and fun and clearly has a passion for sharing her love of the city. The bikes provided were easy to ride and well maintained. They provided helmets, a free water bottle and even a little carrier on the back which eliminated the need for a backpack. So much fun and so much history!!! A fantastic experience! Thanks Rebecca!

The bike tour was definitely a highlight of our trip to Philly! It was so fun to just cruise around the city with the wind in my hair and sun on my face. We went September 30th. Jonas was our guide. He was so easy going and relaxed and was open to stopping whenever we wanted, very accommodating. Jonas also knows so much about the city. I believe he said he’s lived in the city 25 years! I learned so much history about the US that I never knew. It was super cool. The tour also is not strenuous, to me it was relaxing. I’m 53 yrs old. I barely had to pedal. But you see so much on a bike and you can “feel” the neighborhoods! I loved this tour and highly recommend it. Jonas also gave us recommendations for lunch and night life. We went to the places he told us about and had a blast! It left me loving Philly!!

Awesome tour with Jonas as our guide. He kept us safe and explained lots of history in the places we biked through. Easy ride and covered lots of ground so we got to see things we would have never seen or thought to see. Lots of shady areas if the suns out. Was a perfect day. My sister and friend says it was the best part of our stay!!

We took the Classic City Tour with six friends, and it was such a fantastic experience! Even though most of us have lived in Philly for over 20 years, we saw the city through a completely new lens and learned so much along the way. The staff was incredible — they struck the perfect balance between sharing interesting history and fun facts while also keeping us safe and comfortable on the ride. Our guide, Drew, was knowledgeable and engaging, and our sweep, Ron, made sure no one was left behind and kept the vibe fun the whole time. The bikes themselves were comfortable and easy to ride, and the communication throughout the tour made everything flow smoothly. Whether you’re a visitor or a lifelong Philadelphian, I can’t recommend Philly Bike Tours enough. Even if you’re a little nervous about biking in a big city, they handle all the details so you can simply relax, ride, and enjoy the experience.
