Amsterdam Canal Ring
Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands, has more than one hundred kilometers of grachten (canals), about 90 islands and 1,500 bridges. The three main canals (Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht), dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Alongside the main canals are 1550 monumental buildings.[1] The 17th-century canal ring area, including the Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Jordaan, were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010,[2] contributing to Amsterdam's fame as the "Venice of the North"

I had a great time on the canals looking at the boat. It’s looking at the buildings. With TEUNIS. On the flagship Amsterdam. For Captain Jack’s. It was amazing to just relax. In the sun. In April. Bring a light to medium jacket. Check out the wonderful water. They have cheese and strip waffle and licorice and biscuits with wine. And water. Just a wonderful day.

Get there early because the meeting place is not correct. Only a block away. But leave some time. Plenty of cheese and a variety of wine. Nice background on the city

A delightful trip in a beautiful old launch with Gisella at the helm. Wine and nibbles thrown in, and a lot of interesting information gleaned. Happy to highly recommend this operator.
