What To Expect
We meet at the east entrance of the Stockholm City Museum (Stockholms Stadsmuseum). The @adding:tours team will send you an email message before the tour starts with detailed information on where to go and how to get there. The message will also include the telephone number to our offices should you have any problems finding the meeting point, your guide, or need assistance, we will be happy to help you!
Slussen
We start your tour at Slussen (literally: the lock). Slussen is an important part of the early and current development of Stockholm. We feel its importance has been underestimated. Your guide will give you a historical overview and significant developments of the area, point out notable structures and inform about the current state of play with project Slussen (2016-2025). All while you are making your way at a leisurely pace towards the Stockholm Old Town.

5.00Our tour was wonderful! The “small group” ended up just being me and my husband (likely due to the cold, wet weather). We walked all over Stockholm with our guide, Rachel. She was very knowledgeable and gave us an in-depth look at the history of city at every turn, building, and monument!

5.00Communication after booking and direction to meeting point were very clear. Apprecisted the tour running just for me as it was not busy tourist season yet. My guide Kenneth was very knowledgeable about the history of Stockholm and kept the tour light and entertaining. Kenneth shared recommendations for additional places to visit and restaurants after the tour which were much appreciated. The tour allowed me to make note of the places I wanted to go back to and gave me in a very short time a good sense of Stockholm. Recommend booking a guided tour of the City Hall after doing this walking tour as this is where it ends. It is a nice complement to what is shared by Adding:Tours and well worth the time.

5.00Our guide Kenneth took us on a tour of 3 hours. He spoke about both the past and the present in a very inspiring way. We didn't know much about the Old Town, but now we know a lot of things. It feels inspiring to come back and continue to explore the Old Town and surrounding areas. It felt really luxurious to get my own guide of two people. Kenneth took the time to answer our questions and followed us at the end to a restaurant, great service. Great rating from us!i

5.00We arrived at the tour knowing nothing about Stockholm and left knowing everything. Kenneth delivered all the info in a fun, educational way. We loved it. The stop off for hot Chocolate at Grills was a good choice too. One of the best tours we have done.
