We saw lots of turtles, and the entire experience was very well organized. The starting location was perfect, the kayaks were well maintained, and everything ran smoothly. Jean was our guide and was pleasant, patient, and very informative, which made the tour even better. Highly recommend!

Our guide was kind, knowledgeable and took time to find as many species as possible for our group to see. The sea turtles were abundant and absolutely beautiful. My 13 year old and 5 year old both loved this!

If looking to do a last minute excursion or want a unique nature experience that is self-guided and at your own pace, this is a fantastic option. We booked clear kayaks the day-of by simply calling and driving their way. They met us at the dock, gave us 2 kayaks, and sent us on our way. PRO TIP: check the tide schedule and only do this around high tide. The mangroves are amazing, but you can’t get into them at low tide or will get stuck due to the water levels being too low. We kayaked to the mangroves, explored a small man-made island, and could have made it over to Iguana Island, but passed as we were doing that a different day. We saw multiple turtles, some small (friendly) lemon sharks and a sting ray. Great experience for my wife and kids, a bit of exercise, and fun to see the wildlife in a unique setting without having to be on a tour or rushing from place to place. 2 hours was plenty for the kids (teenagers), I would have preferred more time to explore the mangrove maze further.

Very fun trip. Saw lots of turtles and a shark. Guide was friendly and engaging. Boats were easy to paddle. Water was clear. I was able to take pictures of turtles through the boat. The dock was not that easy to find. Other outfitters had a person drag the boats. Here you had a 2 person boat you paddled yourself. It was not an issue.

DJ was a great guide. We saw plenty of turtles up close. They took great care of my 86 year old dad getting in and out of the kayaks.

We booked the clear double kayak without a tour and this was the only company that I found that offered it without a tour or with. So I booked them as they also had good reviews and now I see why. They were great to deal with, and when we got there they were very helpful. There was a couple of others going on a tour and so they had space to tow us to the mangroves which saved us time and effort! This was very appreciated. There were two workers that we interacted with and they were so nice and helpful. One as named Jovin (sp?)and I never got the others guys name but he was great too. Honestly, it was a great experience. I am happy with our choice but I totally think you would see more wildlife with a tour as the mangroves are expansive and they would know the hiding places ! Also, the mangroves start looking alike and it would be easy to get lost!

Great tour where guides are sensitive to each guest’s needs and skill level. Very helpful. Enjoyed meeting other guests. Saw lots of big turtles right beside our kayaks. Well worth the price. This was our third time going and we brought along friends on their first trip to Turks and Caicos. Two hours for the total trip is just right.
