overall it was a very nice experience. I would like to make a few suggestions however. The kayaks are not especially floaty and are very difficult for heavier adults to manage. During the orientation talk, they requested that we do not touch or harass the animals but the guides would pick up the conch to show us and then put them back somewhere completely different from where they were found. They would also tap the turtles on their shells with their paddles in order to get them to move. I know they have an appreciation for these animals and nature but need more training/understanding on treating them appropriately. There were also several tour groups literally chasing the baby sharks around in order to see them. I know we all want to see these things, but during other tours like this, there are very strict rules about how close people are allowed to get to the wildlife. These rules should be applied here as well.

It was a great experience. We saw iguanas, turtles, lemon sharks, jellyfish, and conches. Sam, our guide, was very helpful and knowledgeable. Their prices are better, too.

Very engaged and friendly guides. Getting to see the marine life is a hit and miss but we still got to see turtles - most likely to see those, lemon shark, barracuda etc.

Amazing 1.5 hour experience! Price was well worth it. The clear kayak made it incredible to see sea turtles and conch right beneath us in the mangroves. Sam was fantastic—super knowledgeable and made the tour fun and easy for our small group. We saw other groups of 15+ kayaks and we were glad we chose Clear Wave! Highly recommend!

We went on the kayak tour today with Ted. We were concerned about the weather as it was very windy and we were given the option to reschedule. We chose not to and I’m so happy we went. Ted was an excellent guide. He made sure we saw conch, baby sharks, and lots of turtles. He was also great at helping us navigate our kayak thru rough water. Go you will not be disappointed.

this is one of the best tours I’ve ever had in Turks and Caicos. Our guide, Vincent, was very knowledgeable and nicer. He took us to a few extra places that were not included in the tour. This experience was amazing.

Our whole group had a great time. We got to see many turtles, lemon sharks, hold a jellyfish, and a live conch. Beautiful scenery! Knowledgeable guide!

We made a last minute decision to try the kayaking and made a great choice with Clear Wave. The crew was fantastic and we saw numerous turtles and a small shark in the beautiful clear water.

Unfortunately, this wasn't the best experience for our family. First, they don't have a bathroom at the landing and the nearest one was closed at the early hour of our meeting time. Not a deal breaker, but we drove almost 45-minutes across the island in traffic to get there and would have appreciated a heads up that there were no facilities on site so we could have stopped somewhere en route. We began with paddling across the busy and choppy channel to the mangrove forest opening. This is outside the nearby dock's no wake zone, so big boats were crossing. Our day also had particularly high winds and it was utterly exhausting and honestly a bit scary trying to cross it in a kayak with me and my 10-year old daughter paddling desperately against the strong current. We came across other tour companies that towed their patrons to the start of the mangrove channel with jet skis or motorized boats. This should have been done for our group, especially given the water and wind conditions - we weren't the only ones in our group to express this sentiment. It was also BUSY with so many other tours in the small channels. Traffic jams, confusion as to who was with what group. We did see a few turtles but honestly I was just trying to survive and make it back to the landing so leisurely sight seeing wasn't possible. Then, there was confusion/miscommunication between our guides and we paddled upstream on a particular channel only to have to turn around and go back the other way. Then, we paddled back out into the main channel and downstream for no apparent reason. Which meant we then had to paddle back against the current when we were all already so exhausted. When we were finally to head back, I asked the guide if we had to paddle back across the channel and he said yes. Meanwhile, every other tour group was getting hooked to motorized boats to be escorted back to their landing sites. I'm not going to lie, I nearly broke down into crying at the thought of having to paddle back across the busy channel. But I put on my big girl panties (which I hadn't wet by some miracle despite an almost bursting and incredibly painful bladder) and started the trek. By some mercy, they did finally bring a motorized boat over and hooked us up and towed us back. Praise above! We got out of there (and to a bathroom) as quickly as we could. I don't mean to be disparaging as I know this is their livelihood, I just don't think that safety considerations were given top priority given the water and wind conditions we experienced. And when you're in water, safety should be given utmost priority. Bottom line, we would 100% NOT do the kayaking again. Another family took a motorized tour with this company (we didn't even know this was an option) and seemed to enjoy it much more since they weren't fighting for their lives.

Says it includes ground transportation when you book it. It does not. We had to get a taxi for $60. The kayaking is fine. A little disorganized. We saw tons of turtles, a shark, a conch, a jellyfish. Guides were nice and pointed stuff out. We didn’t see any fish.
