Coasteering takes you into an alien environment, one minute you can be traversing across barnacle-covered ledges, and the next you find yourself diving into the sea to cross water-filled zawns. The adrenaline-filled adventure will take you from secluded beaches to smugglers’ coves and secret caves inhabited by stunning sea life. It is one of the coolest ways to explore the gorgeous Cornish coastline.

Each coasteer experience runs for 2-3 hours and involves a mix of traversing along a stretch of intertidal zone, over rocks and through water, using a variety of demonstrated techniques including climbing, swimming and jumping into water. With challenging terrain and an exceptionally rugged coastline, coasteering in Newquay is both a challenge and a thrill that gives you the chance to get closer to the marine life and seascape.

What To Expect

Quest Coasteer Adventures - combining, climbing, wild swimming, rock pooling, caving and jumping to explore and discover the Cornish coastline and marine life. All activities are tailored to suit your group and abilities and can be from introductory discovery coasteers to extreme adventures for adrenaline junkies. Coasteers can go out at all stages of tides and we have different locations to use in the various weather conditions. Once we receive your booking we will be in contact to arrange times.

Brilliant time exploring the rocks and coastline. Dale and Bertie could not have been better, their jokes aside!! Great guides, encouraging and helping the smaller ones in the group and encouraging the bigger ones (me) that the jumps were fine..

Great trip with Nick, bit of history, bit of local knowledge and tons of jumping off ledges. Great guide, good safety gear. I had 10 and 12 year old boys and they had a ball.

Fantastic 3hrs activity with the kids (8yrs and 13yrs); cliff jumps, cliff climbing, caves, whirlpool etc quality fun with quality instructor Dale. Would definitely recommend to any family looking for great memorable experience.

What an amazing morning we all had with Dale Coasteering round the rocks and sea. Great guide, lots of experience and made everyone feel at ease. We even saw a seal!! We would 100% all do this again.

Had the most brilliant afternoon out with dale and Bertie !! They are the best guides and made it soo much fun and did something for all abilities !! Would definitely recommend it !! Bertie even managed to get Andie a lift home with The Odessey boat !! Thanks guys - great adventure and amazing how much treasure we found. Free chips on way home too !!

I honestly can't rate Quicksilver highly enough. Excellent customer service - responding to e mails at 0710hrs, and when our second surf lesson was cancelled due to lack of waves we were contacted the day before and given a no quibble refund. We went coasteering with our 14 and 10 year old girls. Our guides were Dale, Bertie and Scot who were excellent. Felt safe throughout and had the utmost confidence in them. The 'trip' was tailored to the ability of the group with a nice mix of caving, wildlife, and (the best bit) jumps. These ranged from small, medium to the truly terrifying with no pressure to do any. Dale knows the coastline inside out and introduced us to places that we would otherwise not have experienced. Overall an absolutely fantastic experience and the children loved it. So much so we did it twice.
