What To Expect
Enjoy gently kayaking on Lake Kawaguchiko with breathtaking Mt. Fuji views, and capture unforgettable moments with photo opportunities from the water. The early morning is the absolute best time to see clear views of Mt Fuji and to relax on the quiet lake waters. This activity is suitable even for beginners as our English-speaking guide will kindly explain how to paddle. *This is NOT rental, we will guide you and take you to the most beautiful places on the lake Our early morning kayaking tour starts at 7:00 am. The time schedule is as follows: 6:45-7:00 Come to reception (fill in the agreement form and make payment) 7:00-7:15 Guide will explain how to paddle and the potential dangers for Kayaking Activity 7:15-7:30 Practice paddling 7:30-8:30 Kayaking tour Total 1.5 hour tour includes equipment, bottled water per person, and picture-taking by our guide. *We start kayaking at 7:00am on time, so please come earlier for preparation. *There are no buses or trains operating at this time, so if you need our pick-up service, please make a reservation for private activity tour and choose kayaking (it is a different time slot).

5.00The early morning kayaking tour with Grahame was one of our highlights here in Japan. We learned a lot about Mt Fuji and the area while having a scenic view on the mountain itself. The tour lasted about 2 hours and was just perfect for a relaxing start into the day with a stunning view surrounded by nature.

5.00We enjoyed a beautiful morning on the lake. The water was smooth as glass and we had a perfect view of Mt. Fuji. CJ was a great guide. He was fun, informative, and kept everyone engaged and happy for our early morning outing. I would highly recommend doing the early morning kayaking with CJ.

5.00Kayaking on Lake Kawaguchiko with an early view of Mt. Fuji was absolutely breathtaking. The calm water reflected the peaceful, waking landscape, making it feel truly magical. Grahame was an amazing kayak instructor and a great tour guide. His explanations and remarks about Mt. Fuji and Japan while sipping coffee made the experience unique. Also, the photos he took of me during the activity are quite remarkable. It was my first time kayaking, and Grahame made it very easy, smooth, and fun. I totally recommend it. 10/10.

5.00This was our first trip to Japan ever and we had planned to go kayaking underneath Mount Fuji because we saw an experience on Tinggly (honey moon activities website). When we got there, we were greeted by CJ - an all American guy from Alabama. We had such an unforgettable experience kayaking near Mount Fuji, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible instructor we met out on the water. He was originally from the United States, which made communication effortless, but what really stood out was his genuine kindness and calm, capable presence. He was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. You could tell he really cared about making sure everyone around him felt safe and enjoyed the experience. Kayaking with Mount Fuji in the background is already surreal, but meeting someone like him added a personal, human connection that made it even more special. If you ever get the chance to be out on the water there, I hope you’re lucky enough to cross paths with CJ too. I would absolutely recommend this experience—not just for the novelty of being on the water near Mount Fuji, but for the sense of connection, calm, and perspective it brings. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you long after you leave, and one I’d gladly do again.

5.00We had a great experience. We want at 7h00 and we add a great time. We were with JC and he was Nice with us, he was welcoming. I would suggest to go there at 7h00 because the lake was so peacefull.

5.00We had an amazing time doing the early morning Kayak with Guillaume as our guide. We were lucky to have clear skies and a great view of Mt Fuji whilst we kayaked on the lake. Our guide was knowledgeable about the area and incredible friendly. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Highly recommend!

5.00What a special way to start the day! We showed up and were greeted by our English speaking tour guide who made the process smooth from start to finish. CJ was very helpful. He set us up with gear including waterproof pants, jackets, boots, gloves, life vests, and waterproof phone case bags. He also made great coffee!!! After a safety briefing and tutorial, we got on the water. He made sure we were comfortable along the way and took great photos! He also taught us some history and fun facts. We would highly recommend this excursion!
