This hour and a half class provides the average person exposure to an ancient sport many know little about. By discussing several different types of birds–eagles, owls, hawks, and falcons–the student gains a new appreciation for the bird’s inherent abilities and the nature of predation. After discussing the birds, the hawks are flown free in the surrounding countryside. The hour lesson concludes with each student having an opportunity to put on a leather glove and hold our trained Saker Falcon. There is a licensed falconer who oversees and presents each experience. Update, Original review was 4, need to update to 5. After having to pay for parking that was said to be validated, TripAdvisor came through and made it right. Talking to the hotel (The Antlers) was a lesson in frustration. Thank you TripAdvisor for making it right. Tour was wonderful, Beth was amazing, we had a great time.

An excellent experience. Both Deanna the falconer and Katie the host/van driver were first rate! Friendly and knowledgeable. We were impressed by Deanna’s expertise, experience and care for the animals. Loved watching her interact with them.

You don't need to search any further - just call them! They are amazing, and you will not be disappointed. We had an absolutely outstanding experience with them. The falconry demonstration was truly unforgettable. Getting to witness free flight up close was incredible and easily one of the highlights of our entire trip. The falconers were so knowledgeable and engaging. They also brought along an axe-throwing activity, which was such a fun addition and a big hit with our group. From start to finish, they were great to work with. Communication was seamless, they were flexible, and everything was executed flawlessly. I highly recommend booking with them. You won't be disappointed! Do it!!

Great experience! It was so awesome to be up close and personal with the birds, not to mention a very knowledgeable falconer. Holding Fig was the highlight of my day!

This is a once in a lifetime experience. We had a blast. Our Falconer was Deanna and boy does she know her birds. She was very friendly and we had a great morning with her and her driver Nicole. After the tour Nicole gave us some great recommendations on where to eat and some must see sites.

This was the most amazing experience that my wife and I have ever encountered! We learned so much and getting to experience falconry firsthand feels like a once in a lifetime experience. We will definitely book this experience and do it again. Scott and Deanna were so knowledgeable and helpful throughout our whole experience. They really made this experience amazing!

What an incredible experience! The falconers at Broadmoor really know their stuff. This experience taught the history of falconry, what it takes to become a falconer in the US, and lots about the birds that make falconry possible. I fancy myself a bird nerd but I still learned so much!

Deanne, Scott and Ty we're the best team to lead this experience. My wife and I had such a good time - and the passion of the three of them added exponentially to the experience. Thank you!

Everyone was very welcoming and informative. The falconer, Dana was very informative about the birds and you can tell she cares for them very well. It lasted longer than anticipated, which is nice because I feel you really get your moneys worth. The weather was great as well.
