The colosseum currently guarantees special access to the arena floor which is off limits to the general public. The arena area is where the gladiator fights took place and also gives you the closest view of the underground area possible
Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Remember to bring a valid photo ID for each passenger

5.00My teenage sons and I I toured the colosseum and the forum with Catarina. She was a fantastic guide-very friendly and knowledgeable. And she gave us enough history and information to bring the sites to life without it being information overload. She navigated us through so smoothly that we barely noticed the crowds. And the arena access is definitely worthwhile.

5.00We had a wonderful tour morning with Chiara C. The other booked party did not show up, so we had her all to ourselves. She was invaluable for her knowledge on the relevant history, architecture, and art. You could just walk quickly through these sites on your own. But a great tour guide can make you linger all morning long, soaking up so much extra context and information. Chiara C. also made sure my college-aged son and I were each engaged with the topics that specifically interested us as individuals.

5.00We had an incredible experience with Angelica as our tour guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and such a pro. When entrance lines were very long, she knew how to adjust and find the best way in to see everything. Our three hour tour flew by and our kids were engaged the entire time. I would highly recommend this tour and specifically Angelica as a guide.

5.00Absolutely wonderful experience! We took our 1 year old (recommend baby carrier vs stroller) and 6 yr old and Francesco was so accommodating. Made sure we had great views and did a wonderful job discussing the history in depth while navigating the topics appropriately for my young children. He brought a book that my kids enjoyed that had excellent graphics of the structures. I’m so thankful we had a private tour to skip the lines and the experience was made even better with our guide!!
