The colosseum currently guarantees special access to the arena floor which is off limits to the general public. The arena area is where the gladiator fights took place and also gives you the closest view of the underground area possible
Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

Denis, our guide, did a great job conveying how the Colosseum was a centre for entertainment like modern day stadia and the likenesses were striking. Very knowledgeable and she took us on a trip through Roman history as well as a guided tour of the Colosseum and the Forum Romanum.She could answer every question I had.
