The colosseum currently guarantees special access to the arena floor which is off limits to the general public. The arena area is where the gladiator fights took place and also gives you the closest view of the underground area possible
Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Remember to bring a valid photo ID for each passenger

5.00We requested a family-friendly guide since we were traveling with our toddler and infant. Valentina was extremely professional and went at our pace, understanding that we were eager to learn while also having to corral our little girls. Her insight and knowledge of Ancient Rome was exceptional. She was also very engaged with our toddler, keeping her interest peaked and making sure she was safely by our side by walking with her hand-in-hand. I highly recommend requesting Valentina as your guide on this amazing tour of the ancient world.

Plus he has a good sense of humor, which kept the mood good on a hot day, and he was gracious with any needs the group members had. Glad to have been with him!
