The colosseum currently guarantees special access to the arena floor which is off limits to the general public. The arena area is where the gladiator fights took place and also gives you the closest view of the underground area possible
Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

5.00We did this tour on a Monday afternoon and only had ourselves and one other couple in the group, which was fantastic since we could easily talk to our guide, Luciana. She was wonderful, she gave us so much historical information and answered all of our questions. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed ourselves very much and highly recommend Liv Tours (this was our second tour with them and both were flawless).

5.00Great overview of the Coliseum and the Roman Forum with some powerful entrances into the Coliseum. Fabio was very engaged with all of us, showing all of us key aspects of the Forum such as how the ground level in Ancient Rome was much lower than today, and the exact location of the house of the Vestal Virgins.

2.00For only being six person tour, it felt like 40 people. Our guide was always so far ahead of everyone we never knew where she was. We’ve been on multiple tours on this trip and this was by far the worst. We were rushed through colosseum. I could have done a cheaper one with more people and had a better experience.
