The colosseum currently guarantees special access to the arena floor which is off limits to the general public. The arena area is where the gladiator fights took place and also gives you the closest view of the underground area possible
Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Remember to bring a valid photo ID for each passenger

5.00LivTours was ideal for the Colosseum Tour; and while I booked a small tour, no one else happened to book my time slot so I got a personal tour! How lucky I was bc I got Maria Gabriela. Even before the tour began, I had clear communication on where to meet, and even when I got it wrong, they texted in real time to make sure I could find my guide. She was knowledgeable and warm; and I felt very welcomed by the whole experience. I highly recommend this group as there was no guessing once I booked with them. As context, this was the first week in Dec- so shoulder season with no lines.

5.00This is a very detailed and interesting experience. Our guide Annalisa was superb making the information relevant and enlightening. If you take this excursion you will not be disappointed. The location is awe inspiring and magnificent with lots of interesting features and artefacts the crowning glory being the magnificent Colosseum. Full five stars from us. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. She even took us to a lovely gelato shop at the end of our tour. 🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦👍👍👍😀.

5.00Our family of 6 (ages 10,15,16,19 and 2 adults) took a tour with Elisabetta and she was excellent. Very patient with our group and super knowledgeable. Shes a trained archeologist and Roman native. We learned so much and got a lot out of the experience. We wouldn't have spent nearly as much time on our own and would have missed many pieces of the historical puzzle. Thank you!

3.00The tour was informative and a good overview of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. Our tour guide was pleasant and nice. And maybe it was the rain during the first half of the tour to affect my assessment but I wish that the tour was a bit more informative. I felt that our guide perhaps spoke too fast and could have fleshed out more of the facts about what was shown to us. It just seemed a bit confusing with as long and extensive the history of the landmarks were.

5.00I just don’t think you could experience the Colosseum to it’s full without a tour as there is limited information in the amphitheater itself. Sam was an amazing tour guide. Full of energy and non-stop information. He answered all of our questions with amazing knowledge and was the best start to our time in Rome. Would highly recommend.
