With exclusive access you will enter the Colosseum through the Gladiator’s Gate, walking directly onto the arena floor. Experience the grandeur of the arena from a unique perspective, as you stand where the gladiators once stood, when they walked out to the sounds of thousands of yelling spectators.
Your licensed tour guide will bring to life the exciting and shocking events that took place where you now stand. Enjoy an up-close view of the underground chambers exposed below, wander through the vast corridors, and climb the ancient stone stairs of this magnificent amphitheater, as you learn of its rich history.

• Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.
• Toilets are limited, use the toilet before arriving for the tour. (Breaks made when possible)
• No weapons (pocket knives), glass bottles or large backpacks
• Tours will run rain or shine (unless closed for safety reasons)
There are mandatory security checks al all entry points to the sites. The wait time time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line

5.00Expect long lines to get into the Colosium, they do provide breaks often for bathroom, but the first one is almost an hour later so be prepared. Sun protection would be recommended as you're directly outside most of the time.

5.00“Show Me Italy” guided tour, I highly recommend. Our guide Ilaria, was very knowledgeable and helpful in describing many aspects of the Colosseum, followed by a walking tour of highlights of the Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. My wife and I were so glad that we made the Colosseum our priority stop and happy with our selection of this tour. Definitely set the tone for a wonderful introduction to Rome.

1.00Our assigned guide was very unfriendly and very unaware. Several of us tried to tell her our headsets weren’t working and she brushed it off. The guide also would stop for very long periods in random places to get away from other groups making it hard to actually see and understand the experience she was describing. We ended up handing our non-working headsets back with 45 mins left in the tour and going at it on our own.
