With exclusive access you will enter the Colosseum through the Gladiator’s Gate, walking directly onto the arena floor. Experience the grandeur of the arena from a unique perspective, as you stand where the gladiators once stood, when they walked out to the sounds of thousands of yelling spectators.
Your licensed tour guide will bring to life the exciting and shocking events that took place where you now stand. Enjoy an up-close view of the underground chambers exposed below, wander through the vast corridors, and climb the ancient stone stairs of this magnificent amphitheater, as you learn of its rich history.

Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the tour
• Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.
• Toilets are limited, use the toilet before arriving for the tour. (Breaks made when possible)
• No weapons (pocket knives), glass bottles or large backpacks
• Tours will run rain or shine (unless closed for safety reasons)
There are mandatory security checks al all entry points to the sites. The wait time time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line
The names provided at the time of the booking cannot be changed.

5.00Wonderful tour! It was packed with fascinating history about Palatine Hill, the Roman Forum, and of course, the Colosseum. Eleonora was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and fun throughout. November is still a beautiful time to visit Rome; just be prepared for the possibility of rain.

2.00*coliseum tour started 40 ish minn late. they did contacted us said arrive 15 min later than scheduled. *at Check in : Told we are waiting for someone who had checked in. We waited +20 ish min. Causing tour start 40-45 min later than originally scheduled. * Resulting in: We had to leave before the Coliseum tour was finished Missed the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill parts of the tour as well (the second 1/2) to get to the ship by the Back on board time 7PM

3.00This is a great comprehensive tour covering the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. While we were happy with the sites, we were unfortunately left severely lacking in learning. We are travelers and understand that there is a language barrier in other countries, but our tour guide was almost impossible to understand due to his thick accent. We could not understand about 90% of the content of the tour, so we felt lost in what we were looking at. Additionally, the guide went 1 hour longer than the tour was booked for, so 3.5 hours felt VERY LONG. We were then late to our following reservations and bookings for the day. Overall, while I can appreciate our tour experience, we were overall under impressed and did not leave with any knowledge of what we saw. I would encourage Show Me Italy to think twice about sending this guide out on English-language tours.
