• Tours will run rain or shine (unless closed for safety reasons)
There are mandatory security checks al all entry points to the sites. The wait time time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line

4.00Our cousin had hurt her knee before the tour. So she had mobility issues. Our guide Max did what he could to accommodate her. And although the road was difficult to walk, the Colosseum was outstanding. The forum was a sight to see. I would definitely recommend this tour. Our only concern was Max was hard to understand because of his thick accent and sometimes lost us in the crowd. That’s the only reason we didn’t rate at five stars.

1.00Several months ago I booked a tour of the colosseum etc through Viator. I booked it for two people and entered both names. Yesterday we showed up for our tour and Show Me Italy who were providing the tour gave me two tickets with the same name on them. We were told we could not attend the tour together as we each needed a ticket with our name on it to be admitted. I booked this tour months ago and did enter two names. However, even if I had not this company had two months to figure out they needed to ask me the other name of the person going. I had paid for two tickets. It is very easy for these tour companies to get in touch with you. In fact, the day before this tour started the tour operators notified me through whats app and email that they needed to purchase for an hour later. They pushed the tour back an hour which was fine. This would have been the perfect time to ask who the other ticket was for if they did not have the Name as they stated. I had purchased two tickets. And they stated they only had one name so I guess they bought the ticket twice? I requested a refund twice from Viator and was denied. We emailed Show me Italy directly and have not received a response. A short internet search indicated they have several negative reviews for ticket mix ups. We lost almost 300 dollars on this tour. And Viator did nothing. If you book this tour I would suggest booking directly with the tour company and not this one. All my other tours and there were many were fine. This one was a mess. Make sure if you see the coliseum they ask for everyone’s name that is on the tour. Very disappointed.
