With exclusive access you will enter the Colosseum through the Gladiator’s Gate, walking directly onto the arena floor. Experience the grandeur of the arena from a unique perspective, as you stand where the gladiators once stood, when they walked out to the sounds of thousands of yelling spectators.
Your licensed tour guide will bring to life the exciting and shocking events that took place where you now stand. Enjoy an up-close view of the underground chambers exposed below, wander through the vast corridors, and climb the ancient stone stairs of this magnificent amphitheater, as you learn of its rich history.

• Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.
• Toilets are limited, use the toilet before arriving for the tour. (Breaks made when possible)
• No weapons (pocket knives), glass bottles or large backpacks
• Tours will run rain or shine (unless closed for safety reasons)
There are mandatory security checks al all entry points to the sites. The wait time time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line

4.00Pretty good tour overall due to what you are getting to see with the arena, colosseum and forum. Our guide Maria though was not great for kids. She was clearly very interested in the history which is great but it made it very boring. She made it clear from the beginning that the tour would be more history based and not really for people who wanted to take photos, which it didn’t say that in the description. She wanted to give more history instead of giving time for photos. As a family you are in the area of the Colosseum, you would like to get some photos.

5.00I had a wonderful time on this tour! We had Anna B as our guide and she was amazing! She was incredibly smart and gave us so much infromation we would have missed if we had booked directly. A lot of spots in rome you do not need to waste the money and book a guided tour, but this one is the exception!

1.00We booked a small group tour of the colloseum for around USD 180. After arrival at the meeting point we waited for around 20 minutes just to find out that there was no small group tour at all and that the operator had just moved us to a big group. We didn't want to do a big group tour and were only left with the option to cancel. However, so far we only received the promise of a refund but no money was transferred back. We are very disappointed by this operator, since in the end we were not able to take the tour (we would have booked somewhere else) and also have not received the refund yet. I would thus recommend to anyone to look for another tour provider.

5.00My husband and I booked this visit spur of the moment as we had been to the coliseum years ago and wanted to revisit. This was one of the best tours we have been on. Our tour guide, Barbara, who is from Rome, was extremely knowledgeable and the 3 hours together seemed to fly by. We learned many things we had not known before. Our group was small and Barbara was effective in navigating us through the crowds and lines. The history of the Forum and Palatine Hill was fascinating. We would highly recommend this tour!

1.00Extremely Disappointing Experience We were only two minutes late because we couldn’t get an Uber, and the ticket simply stated to arrive by 10:30 AM. Unlike other tour companies, there was no warning whatsoever that they would leave without us or that we risked missing the tour. A simple call or message would have made all the difference. When we eventually caught up with the group two hours later at another location, the guide was cold, unapologetic, and dismissive, repeating that it “wasn’t his fault” and that he “had to leave on time.” There was zero empathy or effort to help salvage our experience. Their lack of communication and cut-throat approach completely ruined our day. We do not recommend this tour company or this guide. A little professionalism and basic courtesy would have gone a long way.
She was so nice and informative. She was very passionate about her job, and I’m so happy our group lucked out with her.

5.00I believe her name was Silvia, but she made it worth it. There was even an issue with an individual’s I.D. but she managed to handle the situation professionally. I would have been stressed, but the tour itself was so amazing nonetheless.
