With exclusive access you will enter the Colosseum through the Gladiator’s Gate, walking directly onto the arena floor. Experience the grandeur of the arena from a unique perspective, as you stand where the gladiators once stood, when they walked out to the sounds of thousands of yelling spectators.
Your licensed tour guide will bring to life the exciting and shocking events that took place where you now stand. Enjoy an up-close view of the underground chambers exposed below, wander through the vast corridors, and climb the ancient stone stairs of this magnificent amphitheater, as you learn of its rich history.

Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the tour
• Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.
• Toilets are limited, use the toilet before arriving for the tour. (Breaks made when possible)
• No weapons (pocket knives), glass bottles or large backpacks
• Tours will run rain or shine (unless closed for safety reasons)
There are mandatory security checks al all entry points to the sites. The wait time time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line

He explained the history in a clear, easy-to-follow way and kept the group moving smoothly through each site. The tour focused on the main highlights and well-known stories, which made it a great introduction to these iconic locations. While it didn’t dive deeply into lesser-known details, it was informative, well paced, and pleasant throughout. Overall, a nice, relaxed way to experience the historic sites with a helpful and personable guide.

1.00By far the worst tour we took during our vacation. The guide tour was more interested in taking us from point A to B to C, etc. Poor storytelling and very repetitive. Guide was not knowledgeble of the Colosseum history. We kept on hearing the other tour guides stories that I finally just starterd asking questions and so did the rest of the guest.

5.00A tour of the Colosseum was a dream of mine for many years. Today it became a reality, and our tour guide, Silvia, was outstanding! She made our tour exciting and informative as she told stories of the Roman Emperors, Gladiators, and animals that filled the Colosseum once upon a time. Silvia’s knowledge was outstanding, and we walked away from the tour learning so much about the history of Ancient Rome.
