With exclusive access you will enter the Colosseum through the Gladiator’s Gate, walking directly onto the arena floor. Experience the grandeur of the arena from a unique perspective, as you stand where the gladiators once stood, when they walked out to the sounds of thousands of yelling spectators.
Your licensed tour guide will bring to life the exciting and shocking events that took place where you now stand. Enjoy an up-close view of the underground chambers exposed below, wander through the vast corridors, and climb the ancient stone stairs of this magnificent amphitheater, as you learn of its rich history.

• Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.
• Toilets are limited, use the toilet before arriving for the tour. (Breaks made when possible)
• No weapons (pocket knives), glass bottles or large backpacks
• Tours will run rain or shine (unless closed for safety reasons)
There are mandatory security checks al all entry points to the sites. The wait time time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line
The names provided at the time of the booking cannot be changed.

Disappointed couldn't get into Colosseum.

1.00Tour was sold as including Colosseum Arena Floor. Extremely disappointed and frustrated when night before we received a message that the Arena Floor access would not be included and were offered a 30% discount or you could cancel. It was too late to rebook anything else and the line to get tickets to the floor were really long. We only saw the exterior plus the other locations. The guide had mentioned this was a problem all year long. They are selling a tour they don't have. Amazing to experience everything else and to be there. Tour guide was excellent although accent was a bit hard to understand.

4.00The tour was great. Our time was changed and there was a lot of confusion at the meeting point that could have been handled better. Our tour, Julio was wonderful. Very knowledgeable. We were told that bc of changes that the colosseum tour could not be done with a tour guide. We seen several groups that had tour guides. A group that left right before us were in the colosseum with their guide. That was very disappointing.

2.00We were supposed to get a tour of the Colleseum, Forum, and Paletine Hill. We only got the Palentne hill portion and some outside the Colleseum information. Our guide left us after we entered the Colleseum i feel like we were ripped off!

2.00Tour was simply not as described - as mentioned in other reviews, we received two emails a couple of days out from the tour. One said that the tour guide cannot accompany us to the Colosseum (which was the only reason why we booked the tour). The other email shifted our tour from 10 to 11:45 which meant we were doing it in the heat of the day, rather than in the morning. The guide, while friendly and trying their best, was not up to the standard that I would expect for such an expensive tour. We were bombarded with a string of irrelevant and/or incoherent facts, which followed no logical sequence. There was virtually no detail provided on the background of the Roman Forum and Palantine Hill, and a negligible amount provided on the Colosseum, before we were told to go ion with no guide at 1:45 (almost 4 hours after our initial booked time of 10). This is particularly disappointing because there were MANY guided tours that were inside the Colosseum when we went in there. The provider insinuated that guided tours were no longer allowed within the Colosseum but this is untrue. My sincere advice would be spend more to go with a different provider. Ensure they are allowed to do tours inside the Colosseum, as it is a really spectacular site.

2.00Booked an early morning tour of the Roman Forum and the Colesseum. A week before, they changed the time of tour to mid-morning. Then the day before the tour when otherwise getting an entrance ticket was not possible, I was advised that our tour guide could not enter the Colesseum and offered a 20% discount. There were many, many tour guides with groups inside the Colesseum. We did not even have an audio guide.
