Tours will run rain or shine (unless the monument is closed by the officials for safety reasons)
There are mandatory security checks at all entry points to the sites. The wait time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line
Toilets are limited, use the toilet before arriving for the tour. (Breaks made when possible)
No weapons (pocket knives), glass bottles or large backpacks
Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

1.00This was a terrible experience. My granddaughter and I were so excited for this tour but the local operator would not honor our voucher and provided basic entry tickets for the Coliseum. No tour guide , no Arena experience, nor Roman Forum or Palentine Hill. I’m trying to request a refund but can’t fine a way to contact Viator.

1.00Absolutely terrible experience!!! We arrived at 3:10 more than the 15 minutes required before the tour started at 3:30pm only to be told that the tour was for 3pm after showing them the booking form showing 3:30 the story then changed to, "the time was moved forward to 3pm" and "didn't you get an email" I obviously had to no email. I was then just given a card and told get a refund, they did nothing to help !! they didn't try to call the guide and ask them to wait as we were only 10 minutes behind. My suspicion is the tour guide never turned up that day or the tour was cancelled as they didnt have enough people booked for it. Whatever the explanation it was a terrible experience and cost £250 !! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

1.00Went to said meeting point by the red pillar, no one was there. Calls and messages went unanswered. We had to walk up further and look around until we spotted one man in a red jacket and several normal dressed others operating on a random stand. Nothing was organized and one of the men looking at our vouchers had the nerve to snap that we were late, and I had to inform him that we would not have been had the meeting point and directions posted were right, along with unanswered calls and messages. You may save money by booking through here, but you can save yourself a headache and just spend the extra money to buy your tickets elsewhere.

1.00Stay away from this tour company and buy tour tickets from the Colosseum directly. A lot of these tour companies are not approved by the Archeological Park of the Colosseum and don’t actually have tickets. When they can’t secure tickets, they will email you (maybe-we didn’t get one) the night before (after the period to get a full refund) that they don’t have tickets to enter and they’ll give you a tour of the outside of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. We booked our tickets through the Tour Guy who then contracted it out to this company. The Tour Guy promptly issued us a refund.

2.00Terrible organization. We were told to meet at a certain point for our tickets. We lined up to be told they were emailed to us. They were not. Eventually the guy got them sent to me by WhatsApp. We were suppose to be in at 8.30. Got there at 9.25 The coliseum was packed. It ruins the tour. We were suppose to do pallitine hill and forum as part of our ticket. The line up was ridiculous

2.00We booked the audio guide & arena floor access, which would’ve been fine if they actually included the headsets. We showed up the day of the tour and got audio downloads sent to us. If you don’t purchase phone service you won’t be able to learn anything about what you’re looking at. Additionally, the numbers at the sites didn’t match what their audio guides were. It was a mess and we didn’t learn as much as we think we could’ve. Just book with the in person tour, I’m sure that was better and it seemed pretty organized at the meeting point. As for the arena floor- the colosseum is not well marked, so it was a nightmare trying to find the arena floor to get photos. And again, lack of actual audio made it difficult to appreciate everything we were seeing. We basically had to take photos of everything and go back to our bnb to learn anything from the day.

2.00Although we originally thought the audio tour would be great, the system that was used was not straight forward. You download all the audio and you do not get them in order of how you go through the tour, which takes a lot of time to navigate through on your own!
