One of the highlights of our trip to Italy was this class with Alessandra; it was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. She patiently showed us the right technique to make the pesto, recommended ingredients, and gave us tips. She had a light snack and drinks ready when we arrived, and later shared a lovely white wine, different types of focaccia, olives, and her homemade ricotta-filled bread. Everything was delicious! We were very grateful she waited for my husband to find parking before beginning, how kind is that? I can not recommend this class enough; everyone in the family enjoyed it! We felt so proud of ourselves after making such amazing pesto. We left Alessandra's home with happy hearts and big smiles on our faces. I truly hope we get to do this again! Grazie mille, Alessandra!

Alessandra was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She helped us find her home location, had fresh baked focaccia and cold drinks waiting on us as we arrived. She has so many skills and was even the Master Judge for National Pesto Competitions for all of Italy!! What an absolutely cool experience to be able to make pesto in her home like we were part of her family. She took so many amazing photos of us as well and was so sweet and welcoming!!! Thank you again for such an unforgettable Italian experience!!! Perfecto!!!

We had a fantastico experience with Alessandra. She was an amazing host and teacher. She shared all of her knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine, and helpful travel hints (p.s. headed her way? Find the elevator to take you up instead of climbing the steep hills, it was a life-saver). It was an absolute wonderful experience. I highly recommend her course, and will easily book again the next time we visit. Next time we will do the pasta making class to round out our Italian cooking skills.

Alessandra is a wonderful woman! She welcomed us into her home, offering refreshments as soon as we got there. She gave us some background before we got started and was there to help along the way. And oh my goodness, it was the best pesto I have ever had, and even the focaccia and wine were delicious. When I come back to Italy, I will try my best to make a stop back here!!! 10/10 would recommend this place!!

What an unforgettable experience! This pesto cooking class in Genoa was a true highlight of our trip. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, instantly making us feel at home. Her beautiful house set the perfect backdrop for an authentic Italian culinary experience. The class was hands-on, fun, and filled with laughter. We learned how to make traditional Genovese pesto from scratch, and the smell alone was worth the trip! Paired with delicious local wine and freshly baked focaccia, everything we tasted was absolutely divine. Great communication. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a truly local and heartwarming experience in Genoa!
