You will have the opportunity to learn the history of the wine estates and see all the wine cultivation and production process, being at the source of the Porto Wine. The "birthplace" of this unique nectar!
During the tour enjoy 6 wine tastings while admiring the astonishing landscapes and serenity of the Douro Valley, recognized as World Heritage Site by UNESCO, since 2001.
The guided visit to 2 different wine estates with tastings, a complete traditional lunch with Douro wines and a scenic 50 minutes cruise on the Douro River is included on this full package.

What To Expect
Porto
Your expert guide will collect you from your hotel/accommodation or meeting point and will drive you to the renown Douro region. On your way to the Douro, the guide will give you insights regarding the Portuguese history, development and cultural facts of portuguese heritage. Half Way through the drive to the Douro Region we will do a short stop for a coffee break.

5.00This was a great trip, weather didn’t cooperate in the morning and the fog limited our availability to see the beautiful scenery but once it cleared in the afternoon the views were spectacular, the wine was incredible, the food delicious and the tour guide Pedro entertaining. I would recommend this trip to others. Thanks

5.00This was a tour that my wife and I booked 2 days in advance (something you can do in the slower seasons). We picked it based on no rain that day. We loaded in the bus at around 7 am and were off before 8. We had a group of about 20. We first were driven out to the town of Amarante, where we walked around got pastries & coffee and walked the town a little. This probably allowed for us to arrive at first winery as it was opening for the day. We then re-boarded the bus to head into Douro Valley to Kopeke Winery. After a tour and wine tasting, we re-boarded the bus and headed to Pinhao for our river cruise. After the cruise we reboared the bus for a wonderful lunch and wine tour at Favaios. From there we headed back to Porto where we arrived at a dropoff downtown in the early evening. The highlights for us were the beautiful views of the Douro Valley from the bus, Kopeke Winery & from the river cruise. Also we got to meet and chat with folks from all over the world.

5.00We loved this tour! Had an amazing day and made family memory that we will talk about for years. We enjoyed the wineries and lunch. Our morning stop in the beautiful old town of Amarante was a delightful and unexpected surprise! Excellent information and samples at all the wineries. The weather was perfect, guides were nice, bus was new and clean and they had great music. I highly recommend!

5.00Such a worthwhile experience! The tour includes two generous winery tastings, smooth bus transportation and boat trip with beautiful views, and a delicious lunch that exceeded expectations. Our guide Mario made the day even better — he was knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready to help. Definitely one of the best-value tours I’ve taken. Highly recommend!

5.00Had an awesome time with Mario and our driver, Ferro. Mario is sharp, hilarious, and somehow speaks more languages than I can even name. I love that he’s just himself—laid-back, fun, and genuinely enjoying the day right along with everyone on the tour. Plus, he’s a low-key DJ, which absolutely needs to be on his business card.
