During the tour enjoy 6 wine tastings while admiring the astonishing landscapes and serenity of the Douro Valley, recognized as World Heritage Site by UNESCO, since 2001.

The guided visit to 2 different wine estates with tastings, a complete traditional lunch with Douro wines and a scenic 50 minutes cruise on the Douro River is included on this full package.

We were picked up at our hotel. The van was nice and clean. The driver was excellent and very informative. After a full day of activities we are dropped off at our hotel again. It was a perfect getaway.

What a great way to step out of Porto and see and learn about the Duoro Valley. Jose Camarinha was an excellent guide, providing us with both funny and informative details about our adventure. He adapted quickly to the group and ensured a group of strangers were soon friends. The trip itself was great- from the boat ride (with locally homemade porto) to the winery visits (more porto) and some bonus stops as time allowed. I highly recommend this trip. It is heavy on activities and not your typical "spend most of the time in a car" trip.
