Tour exceeded all expectations! Been on numerous tours over the years all around the world, and this tour was among the best largely because of our tour guide Hugo. A 3 hour tour felt like a 30 minute tour given the great job he did in keeping us interested and engaged. Highly recommend!!

Awesome! Ian was so much fun and extremely knowledgeable. He constantly encouraged us for questions both about the sites we visited and sites we were interested in outside of our tour. There is so much to do in Melbourne that it is overwhelming and as a local he is able to steer you in the best direction.

Beau was very knowledgeable about the history of Melbourne & had a welcome laid back approach. I was amused that the Melbournites have adopted “the Magic” what we in England would describe as a flat white!😉

Ian was a very knowledgeable guide, but you needed to stick close to him to always hear him. We stayed close and no one else asked him to speak up so not too bad I guess. Your lives up to its name and covers all the steps listed with great background o stories.

What an amazing tour of Melbourne with Ian. He was so passionate and knowledgeable about the city and showed us an eclectic mix of places with interesting stories to match. A small group tour which gave a fascinating insight into the history of the city to modern day. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic tour. A wonderful mix of melbourne history and food. David was a passionate and wonderful historian whom knew all the good places to go. Really loved that we visited cafes/resturants/bars that are uniquely melbourne. Highly recommended. Thanks for an awesome tour David

We were very lucky to have the lovely and knowledgeable Ian on our tour! The meeting place was by the big fountain at Gordon reserve opposite the Windsor hotel - you can spot the team holding blue umbrellas. We had a very small group on our tour six, a lovely family for and myself and my friend. Ian made the effort to get to know us a little so he could tailor some of the facts that he told us. The walking tour itself was fabulous and we saw lots of great architecture, arcades & street art. I live in Melbourne myself and my friend was visiting from the UK and both of us learnt a lot about Melbourne and it's history. Ian made it all come to life with the facts he knew and the stories he could tell. The coffee and then drink were really nice touches! Ian was also very kind making sure we could stop for toilet breaks when needed during the tour and took the time to point out places where we should visit in our own time. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting Melbourne or even if you live here to really get to know the city!
