We were very lucky to have the lovely and knowledgeable Ian on our tour! The meeting place was by the big fountain at Gordon reserve opposite the Windsor hotel - you can spot the team holding blue umbrellas. We had a very small group on our tour six, a lovely family for and myself and my friend. Ian made the effort to get to know us a little so he could tailor some of the facts that he told us. The walking tour itself was fabulous and we saw lots of great architecture, arcades & street art. I live in Melbourne myself and my friend was visiting from the UK and both of us learnt a lot about Melbourne and it's history. Ian made it all come to life with the facts he knew and the stories he could tell. The coffee and then drink were really nice touches! Ian was also very kind making sure we could stop for toilet breaks when needed during the tour and took the time to point out places where we should visit in our own time. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting Melbourne or even if you live here to really get to know the city!

It was an amazing tour and the tour guide was great at teaching and very funny. It wasn’t any ordinary tour because of how many fun things we got to do along the way and how it wasn’t all about the history while still getting to learn so many awesome things. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great time in Melbourne, Australia!

Mike was super friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, and mostly importantly, he is someone who genuinely LOVES Melbourne to his core, you can hear his love to this city from his sound. Thanks for such a packed, informative, and enjoyable 3-hour walking tour that kicked off my Melbourne trip! Couldn’t think of a better start!

Tour was excellent! Bo gave us both a historical lesson and contemporary feel for Melbourne. He was both funny and serious/topical, especially in the wake of the recent Bondi shooting in Melbourne. His take on the country and the city, as well as Victoria, and the people that make it unique was refreshingly candid and insightful, while optimistic about the future. Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn!

Our guide Hugo was very knowledgeable and our afternoon was very enjoyable. I would recommend this to everyone visiting Melbourne not just for the first time, but to anyone that has not really seen Melbourne as a local.

Nice walk with interesting facts about Melbourn. The beer at the end hit the spot. Great first day activity to get you oriented to the east side of the CBD.
