He was great with questions and he spent the time to meet everyone in the group and create an environment that was welcoming and social. Highly recommend this tour to familiarize yourself with Melbourne and information about the history and culture of the city.

5.00Our extremely knowledgeable walk guide, Ian, gave a very interesting, detailed and often humorous commentary on the many fascinating places and landmarks we passed on a full 3+ hour tour. He took time to find out who his walk group were with any backgrounds or interests that meant he could taylor the patter to the specific group needs. He was a mine of background information and side stories about the history and development of Melbourne to accompany the 'facts' that we would never have discovered without this tour. Ian is obviously a very proud local with plenty of knowledge and travel experience that allows him to confidently present a very colourful and interesting tour. There was time for a coffee (included) and rest break on route, and the tour finished up in a pub for a beer (included) and food (not included) as desired, together with more good conversation. All in all a very worthwhile and highly recommended activity and experience.
