This was my second tour with Mekong Smile, and once again it was a wonderful experience. Communication was quick, clear, and very easy from the start. I booked a private tour for myself and my 4-year-old son, and everything was perfectly arranged. Our guide, Jane, was absolutely amazing, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. Before the tour, she messaged us on WhatsApp to confirm the meeting place and time, which I really appreciated. She picked us up directly from our hotel, Legacy Mehkong. We began at a fish farm, where we saw many different kinds of fish, fed them, and even enjoyed a fun fish massage. Next, we visited the Island and toured a pomelo farm, followed by feeding the flying fish, which was a highlight for my son. We ended the day with a hands-on demonstration of how to make Vietnamese pancakes and finished with a delicious dinner. Overall, it was a fantastic and family-friendly way to experience Can Tho.

Our boat trip around the Mekong Delta was perfect for seeing true local life on the waterways. Our small boat was perfect getting up close to the shores and local floating boats. Our guide was very knowledgeable as was our local boatman whose insights were translated by the guide for us to appreciate. If you are looking for a more intomate experience away from the crowds of tourists this is perfect.

Excellent! We arrived to Can Tho earlier than expected so instead of going directly to the homestay, we took a grab to the peer where the boats to the islet go. Only the locals are allowed to get on the boat but some staff person contacted us offering a tour for for 750 000 VND per person, and asked us to wait for about an hour till they find an English speaking guide. 5 minutes later they contacted us again offering a cheaper tour (630 000 VND) with a non-English guide. We agreed. The cutest girl named Dily showed up and took us to the islet. She spoke some English plus we all used google translation. She took us to the fish farm which was really fun! We fed the fish and got fish foot massages and ate some fish cakes. Then we went for a walk on the islet, fed ducks who pitched our feet. We also went to a local kitchen and made lots of Vietnamese pancakes. It all took about 3 hours, was very informative and fun. Highly recommended! Go Dily!!!
