Shimla

Check out after breakfast, to fly to Chandigarh. From here, a private vehicle will transport us to Shimla in the foothills of the Pir Panjal Range in the inner Himalayan Region. Lunch will be had on the way. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel

Dhankar Gompa

A spectacular view of nako lake in the morning From here we ride through several villages till Tabo and on through Dhankar, which is the time-honoured capital seat of the Spiti king. Time permitting, we’ll also ride to Lalung Monastery, before we reach Pin valley known for its national park (home of snow leopards and ibex). Dinner and overnight stay at a guest house

Tabo Monastery

Tabo Monastery, founded in 996 CE by Tibetan scholar Rinchen Zangpo under the Guge Kingdom, is India's oldest continuously operating Buddhist monastery, often called the "Ajanta of the Himalayas" for its exquisite, well-preserved murals, frescoes, and sculptures from the 10th-17th centuries, serving as a vital center for Tibetan Buddhism and cultural exchange, featuring an assembly hall, nine chapels, and ancient monastic caves, embodying a unique blend of Indian and Tibetan art.

Hikkim

Hikkim is a remote, high-altitude village in Himachal Pradesh’s Spiti Valley, famous for housing the world's highest post office at approximately 4,400–4,440 meters (\(14,400\)–\(14,567\) ft). Established in 1983, it is a key destination for sending postcards, and the village features traditional mud-and-stone houses in a cold desert landscape

Chicham Bridge

Chicham Bridge, located in Himachal Pradesh's Spiti Valley, is recognized as Asia's highest bridge at an altitude of approximately 13,596 ft (4,150 meters)

Key Monastery

It is the largest monastery of the Spiti Valley and a religious training centre for lamas. It reportedly had 100 monks in 1855.The monastery is dedicated to Lochen Tulku, the 24th reincarnation of the great translator Lotsawa Rinchen Zangpo.

Kunzum Pass

The road leads us through several villages of Spiti valley. A short uphill ride takes us to Kunzum La (pass at 4700m), which offers an extensive view of the snow-capped mountains. The terrain from Losar village to Gramphu over Kunzum La is an off-road boon for motorcyclists. Dinner and overnight stay at a guest house.

A winding road leads up to one of the toughest passes of the journey, the Shinku la(pass at 5091m), before we stop in for a well-deserved chai break in gonbok rangan from where the off roading starts and finaly we enter Ladakh (u.t.). Soon you’ll be reching padum then a overnight stay at padum

Padum

We’re off to an early start on an invigorating mix of sand and dirt trails, scattered with small stones.an short trip to sony lake . For the better part of todays’ journey, we follow the Zanskar River . There’ll be a quick stop / check post near merak, before we head on to Leh, pa, on the Leh –Kargil highway. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel

The mighty Khardung La is us today! This is the worlds’ highest motorable road at a riveting 5359m, only 39 km from Leh. Fantastic, surreal sceneries and landscapes will guide you all the way to the very top. Pangong Tso

We’ll ride overChang La (or Chang La Pass) is a very high, motorable mountain pass in Ladakh, India, famous as the gateway to Pangong Lake, known for its snowy peaks, rugged Himalayan views, thin air, and a small temple dedicated to Changla Baba. OOn the way to Hanle, Chushul village, Chushul War Memorial, and TsagLa are the places to explore. The Indian Astronomical Observatory at Hanle is located close to the Tibetan/Chinese border and is a sensitive zone. It is famous as the second highest (4500 meters) observatory in the World, for the Himalayan Chandra Telescope and the high-altitude gamma-ray telescope. Hanle is also known for the demise of King Singe Namgyal after his return from an expedition with the Mongols. After exploring the place, overnight stay at the guest house at Hanle.

Umling -La starts from the hotel the next day morning after breakfast. It is a mountain pass in Ladakh between the Indus River and the Koyul Lungpa river on the ridgeline near Demchok. It is located about 235 km away from Leh and 105 km from Hanle village. At an altitude of 5798 meters, Umling La pass is the highest motorable pass in the World. Leh
