Constantine was my entry town in Algeria and the visit started in the best way. The local guide from Algeria Tours16 was excellent. Always very friendly, making a historical frame of the visit, giving suggestions of good places where to have lunch and dinner. I recommend 100%!

Wassim organized a great tour for me in Constantine. My tour guide Lotfi and my driver Anouar already waited for me at the airport. Both are very nice and very professional. Due to my flight from Algiers being delayed we only had limited time and the guys definitely managed to make the best of every single minute. I was able to see all the highlights of Constantine. It’s really an incredible place with a scenic topography – there are incredible views from every bridge. Next time I will definitely stay longer in this great city.

Wassim of AlgeriaTours16 connected us with a local guide for our day in Constantine to take us around on a perfect walking tour to experience the city. We crossed a bridge and walked around the whole city and got to explore and have lunch before heading back to Algiers. They were able to easily accommodate some of us on the trip who were vegan or vegetarian as well so that was great. For those who eat meat of course, no issues at all for them as well. The bridge and some ledges made me nervous but all was very safe and we had great pictures to share.

Our guide, Bilal, picked us up right on time in the morning for our full-day tour of Constantine. The tour that day was a lot of walking in the heat, but Bilal was patient with out slow group and made sure we took breaks. Bilal was local to Constantine and passionate about his city and showing it off to us. He was particularly good at taking us to the spots to get all the desired scenic city photos. We were taken back to the airport after the tour, and all was smooth.

My opinion During my trip to Algeria, I can assure you that I was greatly impressed, even amazed, by the beauty so singular and so typical of the city of Constantine. Built on a gigantic plateau, the city of Constantine is nothing but a huge rock that seems to be split in two by the Rhumel Wadi. The most beautiful way to visit the city is to follow the Rhumel. You can always go and see what’s going on on on the other side by crossing one of the famous bridges. The best known, the most beautiful, the most photogenic and therefore the most photographed is the superb suspension bridge of Sidi M’Cid. 175 m below the Rhumel flows and you have a breathtaking view of the huge fault. An absolutely wonderful panorama. After a walk in the old town you can also take the first and brand new tram to admire the mosques that are among the most beautiful in all of Algeria. I hope you enjoy your stay in Constantine as much as I love this fabulous city.

We would never had seen the city in such a way as we did with this tour. Driving alongside the gorges with a constant view of the abyss is incredible. We stopped numerous times to enjoy picturesque landscapes of the suspended Sidi M'Cid Bridge, Monument to the Dead, Bab El Kantara, Melah Sliman bridge. Beautiful and jaw-dropping cliffs combined with the bridges from different historic periods is a stunning view. Constantine has so much potential to become a world known destination! No one would be able to show the best view points and tell the history about them than our guide Bilal. Let him to take your on a journey throw the stairs, cliffs and bridges and show you best vantage points for pictures. Cannot recommend this tour more!

Although staying in Algiers, I did a day trip to Constantine to check out this beautiful famous "City of Bridges". Now, the weather in Algiers was sunny and around 20 degrees, but on the day I visited it Constantine was just 2 degrees, raining heavily and blowing a gale - and even snowing at times!! However, despite the bad weather, which thankfully did abate at times during the day, I had a great time and am glad I made the effort to visit. In terms of the organisation then it couldn't have been handled better - Wassim was in constant contact and gave me various options and advice about timings, routes, and the itinerary. It was mostly done over email, as well as a FB Messenger call too, and his responses were always almost immediate - which was very reassuring. In terms of value then I'm happy with the price I paid for the full day tour - as it started with a pickup from the airport at 0830 and went all the way through to being dropped off at the airport in the evening around 1745. It included the services of a guide and a driver, together with lunch and the entrance fees too. No unexpected extras! Wassim also organised my Algiers-Constantine return flights for me too, paying for them without even asking me for the money until I got to Algeria. Very trusting and reassuring. Finally, in terms of the itinerary, the tour is done with a combination of driving and walking (mostly the latter) and focuses on all of the bridges that Constantine is famous for, as well as the Victory Monument, the Constantine statue, the old area of the city (and it's rather eye-opening market!), the Palace of Ahmed Bey, the Cirta Museum and finally the Emir Abdelkader mosque.... so, basically everything that you could want to see! My driver Haroune spoke no English but was really friendly, while my guide Lamia spoke decent English and was very nice too. All in all, I'd thoroughly recommend this tour to anyway visiting Constantine!
