A small bus tour with minimal walking. Brooke was very engaging with his stories of the past. From the cooking pot riot to the murderers mound, from the HMAT Supply carrying the first convicts, through the HMS Sirius wrecked at Slaughter Bay, to the ship Morayshire which brought the Pitcairn Islanders to Norfolk. A couple of hours of living history in an idyllic location with afternoon tea at the Lime Kiln thrown in. 10/10

Went to convict settlement area (old ruins) but didn’t even get off the bus in this area. Guide was abrupt at times.

Fabulous tour for the history buffs, or anyone interested in Australian colonial history. Very knowledgeable guide with informative and personal comments around gravesites. Pointed out significant headstones and gave background story to make the story very real, relevant and personal. Great tour with first class guide at Baunti Tours.

An interesting an informative tour thank you. We did quite a few history tours during our stay so inevitably there was some overlap but also new additions to the Norfolk story. I see it as a history jigsaw and each tour expanded on the picture, reinforced what we had learnt and provided new information and insights. I would recommend including this tour, they are all different.

Our driver and tour guide, Brook, was amazingly well-informed, passionate and interesting to listen to as he regaled story after story of the life on NI and the new arrivals throughout its history. He knew so much and had books and reports to share. Very knowledgeable, a safe driver and a nice all-round fellow!

Excellent informative tour lasting around 3 hours focusing on Kingston. Our tour guide Rachel was courteous, answering all our questions and did not rush us through an itinerary. Offering water to guests would be an improvement. Highly recommended

Our 8th generation local tour guide, Rachel gave us a very engaging, educational, and enjoyable tour of world heritage-listed Kingston yesterday. Her extensive knowledge, complemented by rich anecdotes, gave us a real feel for the complex history of Norfolk Island. An unexpected bonus was a spontaneous visit to the newly dug-up archaeological site of a drain near Government house. It was a very pleasurable and informative afternoon, thank you.
