What To Expect

Welcoming and Introduction: Begin with a warm welcome in our traditional Moroccan home in Fes. We'll introduce you to the cultural insights of moroccan cuisine Hands-On Cooking: Under the expert guidance of Nazha, a professional in Moroccan cuisine, and myself, you'll learn to prepare classic dishes such as tagine, couscous, and a variety of Moroccan salads. You'll get hands-on experience with traditional cooking techniques and utensils. Culinary Techniques and Secrets: Discover the secrets behind the perfect balance of flavors and the art of using spices in Moroccan cooking. We'll share tips and techniques passed down through generations. We had a really great experience. We made 2 tagines, msemmem (very fun), spicy eggplant, bayssara soup, and an orange dessert. We also started off the session by making Moroccan tea and enjoying homemade cookies. The whole thing was about 4.5hrs. It was nice to be able to choose what we made and that they could be flexible with the scheduling. A sweet mother daughter team.

This was such a fun and special experience! To be able to learn about this family, share their home and recipes and enjoy the best meal of our trip together was a highlight of our vacation. Nour and her mother are wonderful. If you have a chance to spend an afternoon cooking with them, it will be a treasured experience you won’t soon forget! We had a wonderful cooking class with Nour and her mother Nzaha. It was such a pleasure to meet them and we had a wonderful time cooking together and talking about so many things. The food was very delicious and we ate definitely the best tajine of our morocco trip! We can highly recommend their cooking class. Shukran Nour & Nzaha!

If you’re looking up different cooking experiences and not sure which one to choose, then you can stop looking – this is the best cooking experience I’ve had! My 15 year old son and I knocked on the door at 10am and left feeing revitalised just after 2pm… 👉 First, the cooking – we learnt how to make lots of different dishes in a way to have them all come together at the right time for lunch. The way the experience is set up can be completely replicated in your own home, and I am confident that we will be able to make a Moroccan feast when we get back (especially as all the recipes we cooked were sent to us straight away – no excuses!). We did every step of the cooking together, and watched what was happening on the stove at each stage, so we really learnt how to do it. 👉 Next, the eating – we started with tea and biscuits (though to call them biscuits doesn’t do justice to the incredible pastry home made creations we were given) which as you can tell were incredible. We then ate lunch at the end of our experience and had by far the best meal of the holiday – Moroccan soup, salads, tagine full of well balanced flavours and perfectly cooked followed by a refreshing dessert of oranges and cinnamon. 👉 Last but not least, the company – it was truly a privilege to be invited into Nour and Nazha’s home, share stories with them and experience genuine local hospitality. In my experiences of travelling you don’t often get to see this when visiting somewhere for just a few days, and we certainly didn’t experience this with any of the other activities we did in Fes or general interactions in the medina. We were there for over 4 hours and conversation flowed (even with my 15 year old son which any parent of teens will appreciate is not easy!). The world needs more people like Nour and Nazha and I hope that this review in a small way helps to give something back after all the kindness and warmth they showed us 😊

I advise anyone looking for an immersive experience in Fez, to get in touch with Mrs. Nazha and her daughter Nour. Both they are very competent and very friendly. My group of people were greeted with a big smile. Nour speaks French and English very well and translates everything his mother explains during the process of creating dishes. Their home is very well located having the necessary space to accommodate a dozen people. I highly recommend

An unforgettable experience in Fez! We cooked with Nazha and Nour, two lovely, welcoming and passionate people. Beyond cooking, it was a real moment of sharing: we discussed a lot, exchanged on culture, daily life and Moroccan traditions. The meal we prepared together was delicious, but it is especially the smiles and kindness of Nazha and Nour that we will remember. A sincere and humane moment — thank you again to them! Lola.

We are a family group of 4 aged 19-80, and we all loved this experience. It was very special to be invited into their beautiful home and learn how to cook delicious Moroccan food. Mother and daughter were both so lovely and we really enjoyed chatting to Nour about life and Morocco and food! It was educational and a wonderful experience that we won’t forget!
