5.00Went market shopping for the ingredients. Sliced and cooked it. The end product was so good. A lot of vegetables…. Very healthy. The hospitality of Sayed and Suat was superb! Food was delicious and we had tea at the end!

5.00If you want a TRUE authentic experience then this is a MUST for your time in Chefchaouen. Syed will pick you up from your meeting spot and take you to a local market. You will handpick your vegetables and pick up your protein and walk back to his place. There you will cook in his home (and his wife is there too)! It truly was an amazing experience. You end up having a traditional Moroccan soup, entree (protein and a ton of veggies), and fruit for dessert. You will then end the evening with tea. It is an authentic and intimate experience. 10/10 would recommend.

5.00This was a wonderful experience from start to finish! We met Syed at one of the main gates and began by stopping at the local market to pick up fresh ingredients for dinner. It was a great way to see how locals shop and learn about the different spices and produce used in Moroccan cooking. After the market, Syed welcomed us into his home, where his wife, Souad, was waiting for us. She had prepared a delicious traditional Moroccan soup, harira, to start the meal. Together, we prepped the ingredients and cooked a flavorful vegetable tagine with chicken. The spices were incredible, and it was so fun to be part of the cooking process. To finish the meal, we prepared a fresh fruit salad together and enjoyed it with homemade pastries filled with dates that Souad had made, along with some delicious Moroccan tea. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Everything was delicious, but what made the experience truly special was the warm hospitality. It was such an enjoyable and memorable evening. I would highly recommend it! 😊

5.00Said and Suwad welcomed us into their home and showed us how to prepare such an amazing tajin, I ate so much I'm sure I won't need breakfast. Take the time to enjoy this unique and charming experience, you wont be disappointed!

5.00We had a fabulous time at the cooking class. The experience of going to the market and choosing fresh food, getting to visit a chefchaouen home and preparing and eating the most delicious meal was such a highlight of our trip. Definitely try this out if you’re on the fence!
