What To Expect
Matera
An activity to get to know the traditional cuisine of the area in a unique location: an exclusive cave restaurant. Accompanied by a local chef, you will learn how to make traditional pasta shapes, seasonal recipes and get to know the simple dishes of popular cuisine. You will listen to the stories of the gastronomic traditions of the area, you will discover the typical products and the occasions in which they were used, you will learn about the gastronomic habits of the local families. Finally you will appreciate the result of your work by having dinner with the dishes you have prepared.

5.00Exceptional! This is a MUST DO, top notch experience, for the REAL FOODIES, when in Matera. It is worth every penny! Dora met us at our hotel ushering us through the local market and sharing the rich history of Matera with our intimate group of 3. Our final destination was a beautiful chef’s table restaurant in the Sassi which was phenomenal.
