A great experience in a really relaxed environment with locals. My friend and I visited Vilnius for a long weekend and this was on our first full evening. The hosts were really informative, friendly and willing to share their culture, information and home. I really enjoyed the experience and learned a lot, also met locals and other travellers who were enjoying the area. Thank you Ruta!

Wonderful experience! Absolutely worth the price- this is not just a cooking class but an opportunity to socialize with a local couple, ask questions and interact. Ruta and spouse are phenomenal hosts. They were supportive of our diverse age range (10-75yrs) and varied culinary experience. After experiencing ‘local’ cuisine in the commercial downtown we were impressed with the difference that having a homemade, fresh twist on traditional meals made to flavor- the dishes made with heart are definitely better! So happy that we made time in our schedule for this experience!

We had the most wonderful time with Ruta. The class was engaging and quite intimate because there was only one other couple joining us. We prepared the cold beet soup, zeppelins and "little potatoes" dessert (it's not actual potatoes). We had a blast learning how to cook these dishes and talking travel, Lithuanian culture and history. We are so thankful for Ruta and her husband for opening their home to us.

A fabulous evening, it was treat to end our travels with an authentic Lithuanian experience. We were welcomed into Ruta and her husband’s beautiful home, and enjoyed a delicious meal and fascinating dinner conversation discussing Lithuanian culture and their proud heritage. Ruta is a great chef and a charming hostess. The meal was a culinary delight featuring traditional Lithuanian dishes served with a contemporary flair. We hope to reconnect on our next adventure to Lithuania.

The hostess and her husband, we're extremely warm as they welcomed us into their home. They had experience of hosting classes before, and had created a very seamless flow. My friend and I had a wonderful experience, and felt like we learnt alot about Lithuania culture, history and cuisine. The food we made was traditional, tasty and it was a hands on experience which is what we wanted. The couple spoke perfect English, and made us feel very comfortable.

We had a wonderful time learning Lithuanian recipes in Ruta’s beautiful home. After making a soup, entree, and dessert, we enjoyed the meal with Ruta and her husband. We appreciated learning more about them, life in Lithuania, and getting to share some things about where we are from, too. Highly recommend this great activity!

We really enjoyed the cooking class. Ruta keeps the number of guests small, so that we were all able to participate in preparing a three-course meal. She had adjusted her menu to accommodate my vegetarian diet and was also attentive to other dietary restrictions in the group. Ruta and her husband were very warm, charming hosts, and we enjoyed cooking with her and sharing a meal with both of them and the other guests and hearing more about Vilnius and Lithuania. We appreciated this extra part of the experience that you wouldn't get in a more classroom-style setting. On top of this, the food was very tasty; we particularly loved the cold beetroot soup! We highly recommend this experience.
