Discover how to prepare Tave Kosi, one of the most delicious and unique dishes in Albanian cuisine. Join our cooking class in Tirana and immerse yourself in the rich flavors of Albanian food. A fascinating piece of history lies behind this dish, as it was once known as the "Independence Dish." It was a favorite of Ismail Qemali, the first Prime Minister of Albania after the country's declaration of independence in 1912. For the best experience, Tave Kosi is best enjoyed warm, served in its traditional bowl. This dish can be prepared year-round due to the availability of its simple ingredients. While Tave Kosi can be made with either lamb or veal, the traditional recipe calls for lamb, which brings out the authentic flavors of this beloved dish.

I enjoyed this class so much, I did it again! And the second time was even better. The people were interesting and easy to talk with, and the menu was different and just as tasty. I cannot recommend the experience more highly.

The group was so much fun. Everyone was warm and friendly. Lots of laughs and delicious food. Sindi was amazing. She worked very hard to make sure everyone had a great experience. I'll be adding these recipes to my repertoire.

The cooking class was a great experience, highly recommended. Some people are nice by profession, other are generous by nature. Our chef teacher Sindi is by far on those. Knowledgeable, sharing, structured - she took oss through some basics of Albanian dishes, with wine and raki made by her father in the homestead. It became a great meal. We are looking forward for her cookbook!

This traditional cooking class with Sindi was a once in a lifetime experience. We were able to meet people from all over the world. It felt very personal since this was a small class. Sindi was very friendly and made us feel comfortable as if we had been knowing her forever. We learned how to cook traditional Albanian dishes from scratch and made new friends along the way! Book this class now!

Great experience. Sindi was a great host, fun person and kept the cooking and conversation (as well as the wine) flowing. We enjoyed getting to know the other guests from several other countries. The location was not easy to find. Out of the five guests, four of us had to have her come find us. I completely recommend this experience whether you are a cook or just want to try new things and meet fun people. She said Apple Maps does not work very well in Albania.

Excellent afternoon Sindi was a brilliant host and great fun. Her father’s home produced wine and raki flowed well and were great quality. Cooked and ate 3 dishes. Good value, good entertainment and fabulous recipes. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone of any age.
