Come walk with me through one of Copenhagen's most iconic areas, get re-energized by the fresh sea air, and enjoy a unique way to document your memories - on black-and white film.

Please note that daily light conditions in Copenhagen change dramatically throughout the year, which affects my availability times. In the winter months, the days are short, while in the summer, I am potentially available at sunrise already (around 4-5 AM) and all the way until sunset at around 10 pm, so feel free to reach out to arrange a specific time.

What To Expect
Amager Strand is a large urban beach/ nature area complete with sand dunes, beach grass, modernist structures and wooden bathing houses out on the water. Looking out to the sea, you have an impressive (and almost meditative) view of a windmill park on one side, and the Øresund bridge, on the other. Look away from the sea and you'll see a modern city line. This place has amazing light throughout the year. In the colder, grayer months it's moody and quite melancholy - perfect for dramatic, editorial-style portraits. As the area fills with people and sunshine in the warmer months, there is much joy and romance in the air. Amager Strand is a really unique place because it's within city limits (only about 10 min by metro from the airport, and about 15 minutes from the old town), and yet it feels like you're being transported to some magical, far-away place.
