It was blisteringly hot and there is no shade on the boat. Please add some shade! The guide, while his English was more than competent, did not bring valuable information about the sights, and repeated the words “loads of” and “obviously” so frequently I was ready to jump off the boat into he water mod-way through.

The canal boat ride is enjoyable. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared quite a bit of information about the buildings along the canal. While the tour was relaxing, if you have an opportunity to go in a smaller boat, that would be more personal and private.
