Get ready to experience Copenhagen one bite at a time. This culinary journey takes you beyond the guidebooks and into the heart of Danish culture. With 6 food tastings and 2 drinks included, you’ll enjoy Danish staples, historic dishes, and sweet treats that define life in the city.
We’ll begin at Torvehallerne Market, where seasonal ingredients and Nordic traditions meet modern flavors. From there, we’ll stroll through the iconic Strøget district, surrounded by shops, cafés, and landmarks. Along the way, your guide will share stories of Vikings, Hans Christian Andersen, and the Danish roots of LEGO — making this tour as rich in history as it is in flavor.
No Danish food experience is complete without pastries, and you’ll visit two stops showcasing the country’s sweetest traditions, a chance to indulge like a true Dane.
Come hungry and leave with more than just a satisfied appetite — this is your chance to eat, drink, and connect with Copenhagen in the most authentic way possible.

Nice tour would definitely recommend! Our tour guide Will was very nice, fun to talk to and knew a lot about the city. Absolutely glad we did it.

Excellent tour with MM! Loved every stop, food was fantastic and MM was very knowledgeable and friendly. We’ve done several secret food tours, and they are always a great time and good value.

TLDR: Save your money and just go buy your own food! Unacceptable for a tour company to charge this much and have this kind of subpar experience. Participated in the 12/29 secret food tour. Was very eager given our love for Danish cuisine and positive reviews on tbe website. However, this tour was a HUGE disappointment leaving a really bad impression of Secret Tours & Viator upon us. Tour guide ran late and did not have a clear marker as stated on the description (no orange umbrella present). We waited with participants a few minutes after the hour until the guide finally showed up - Not a good start. The guide did not apologize for being late, and was even defensive about it when asked. There was no discussion of the cultural significance or history of the different foods. From there, the experience continued to decline. We were not able to find seats for the entire group at different locations, making it really awkward for us to proactively make connections and chat. We also waited a long time for service at the different stops and the tour ran over by ~30 min. Some of the vendors were not even nice to our guide!!! We probably spent more than 30 minutes just waiting for our guide to stand in line and order the food. Of significance, the service of food when it came to sharing the pork dishes and pastries were highly unsanitary. There should be a group serving utensil to portion out dishes vs. everyone just picking from the same bowl or plate (yuck!) There was also inclusion of an indoor smoking bar which was really irritating as a non-smoker (while I understand this to be a cultural custom, this stop should be made VERY clear at the time of booking). The final stop at the bakery was a total let-down as we didn’t receive a fair share of food. Overall, what we hoped to have been a highlight of our trip to Copenhagen ended up being a really low point as the tour was so poorly executed. I would not recommend this tour in the future and hope that some improvements are made for future participants. Good luck!

Amazing! I’ve done Secret Food Tours in other cities and it’s the best way to get to know the area, culture and food, of course. Our expert tour guide MM was knowledgeable and so accommodating. I would highly recommend!

We had a great time on our tour with Will. He shared a few historical gems (we always appreciate some history with our food tours) and threw in a few jokes here and there. At each stop we had different options and/or versions of the food which made it even more enjoyable. Would def recommend to anyone wanting a try Copenhagen’s “meats and treats”. Will made sure that everyone felt included and was having a good time!

Silkie was a great tour guide. She gave us a quick history lesson and offered her honest opinions on different questions. We would highly recommend this tour

This was such a fun experience for my husband and I! It was the first thing we did when we got to Copenhagen, which was great because we got to know what the locals eat and drink, learn some history, and got a list of recommendations for the rest of our trip. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun!

Merveille was a fantastic hostess. I was really nervous about trying the first course but it was fantastic! All the food choices were well selected and the pace of the tour was fantastic.
