Join our walking tour and gain insight into a life of drug abuse, crime, and much more. Our guides have their own unique life stories, where they openly share about a life on the streets of Copenhagen that few are familiar with.
The tour lasts 1.5 hours and includes 5-6 stops along the way.
Our friendly guide, Christian, will take you on a personal tour of the popular Vesterbro area, known for its nice restaurants and lively nightlife. But Christian will show you a different side of Vesterbro, a side not many know about.

When you have an addiction, the differences between living in the countryside and in the city are noticeable: drugs are more expensive, harder to come by, and addiction treatment is scarce. I have experienced both, and that’s one of the things I will tell you about as I take you around Vesterbro.

5.00I think it was very exciting to hear a story from a real person who had experienced abuse and not some guide who just read a text about the place. It was a very lively story that caught you completely. Almost like watching a good series or reading a book. It is wild that a person without other means than his voice can make such a vivid tale. I live in Vesterbro and find it very exciting to hear about an environment I live next door but don’t know anything about. I can really recommend it!!

5.00We were on city hike with Mia, which facilitated the most exciting afternoon. Mia is a really good mediator and she gave us a good insight into her harsh life history but also in what support measures are found in KBH for drug addicts and homeless. Mia’s story has settled deep in us and she is a beautiful proof that it is possible to get out on the other side, even though life has had resistance from a very early age, one has faced evil several times and the inner demons have grown up.
