A colleague who had been to Corcovado National Park recommended Steven as a guide. Steven completely lived up to the enthusiastic stories. He's an energetic, cheerful guide who carefully assesses the group he's taking and considers their needs. In our case (five family members, aged 56, 53, 23, 21, and 19), this turned out to be not only about taking photos of all the animals there, but also about providing additional information about the different types of landscape, plants, fungi, insects, and animals that live there, and how everything is interconnected. Steven is very knowledgeable and enjoys explaining everything. Moreover, without him, you'd only see 10% of what lives there. Using a special flashlight, he reveals tracks and, for example, snakes in the hollow of a tree. All the "large" animals were also discussed. Steven can imitate many animal sounds, which can be a bit awkward when searching. He's driven and makes a great effort to locate as many animals as possible. After our day, night, and morning spent with Steven on various walks through the park, we made a list of all the animals we'd seen. It was quite a long list. If you want a guide who can show you everything in the park and tell you all about it, Steven is a great choice. He's also a cheerful, open person who's easy to talk to. For us it has been an unforgettable experience!

Steven was our guide for a group of four consisting of me travelling solo and a Dad with his two teenagers. He has a very warm and easy going energy and his knowledge so deep and interesting for both flora and fauna. I was constantly fascinated by all info he shared. Absolutely loved the 2 days. Up there in the top set of experiences in my life. Thanks so much Steven. I want to come back and do another tour with you!

We loved the tour and Steven made it perfect! We totally recommend it. It was better than expected, we got to see so many animals because Steven was very knowledgeable about how to find them. He was also very respectful of nature and we loved that too. Finally, Steven is very friendly and his stories and insights vastly improve the entire experience. He even made us a video of our experience. In short, it couldn’t have been better and was amazing value for money. The accommodations in the national park also were really nice.

It was a wonderful experience. We were a group of 9 people; 2 families with people between 17 and 55 years old. With different physical conditions and knowledge levels of fauna. Steven was able to adapt the excursions for everyone. It wasn't an easy task. The organization of the entire departure from Drake, the night at Siren and the return to Drake was a 10. Steven is an excellent and knowledgeable guide. He explains things to you in a way that generated interest for us all. There were very exciting moments and despite the weather conditions we could see a great variety of fauna and flora. On the boat ride from Drake, both back and forth we were also very lucky to see whales! Corcovado is a wonderful place. Thank you Osa Outdoors Adventures.

We really enjoyed the Serena-San pedrillo overnight hike in the back yards of the park. We enjoyed the flora and fauna where plenty of mammels mostly situated in the secondary forest and interesting old trees snd plants in the pristine primary forest. We even saw puma tracks! Steven is very well knowledged about the wild life and plants in the area always giving the scientific name and local name for everything we encounter and also the wildlife I was interested to see, like in my case mammels. After this hike I was able to distinguish the sound of different birds in the area and I became more receptive to the nature sounds as Corcovado is a real beauty. At the end of the trip Steven gave us the trip highlights video which was great! I would definitely recommend Steven for future tours.
