Upon the fair seas of Coron, I did partake in a voyage of snorkeling and island wandering, where joy did rise as freely as the tide. Beneath the crystal waves, coral reefs did gleam like hidden treasure, each hue more wondrous than the last, as though “all the world’s a stage,” and nature played her finest scene. We passed from isle to isle, each one a vision untouched, stirring the soul with quiet marvel and delight. Yet above all stood the grace of Twin Lagoon, where still waters lay cradled in stone, a sight so rare it seemed “too full o’ the milk of human kindness” for this world. There, in that sacred calm, time itself did falter, and wonder held dominion over every breath I took. At noon, upon a gentle shore, we were served a meal both rich and honest, whose taste did echo the land’s true spirit, most pleasing to both heart and tongue. Thus I proclaim it a once-in-a-lifetime delight, whose memory shall endure, so long as “men can breathe or eyes can see.”

A private island hopping tour in Coron doesn’t feel like a typical tour—it unfolds more like a slow, effortless drift through some of the most surreal landscapes you’ll ever see. At Twin Lagoon, everything softens. You slip through a narrow opening between towering limestone cliffs and suddenly the world goes quiet. The water shifts from warm to cool as you move, a subtle, almost dreamlike sensation that makes you want to just float and stay there longer than planned. Light reflects off the rock walls, the surface barely ripples, and for a moment it feels completely untouched. Then there’s Barracuda Lake—a place that feels entirely different, but just as captivating. The short walk in builds a bit of anticipation, but once you enter the water, it’s striking in a quieter, more mysterious way. Instead of coral, you’re surrounded by sharp limestone formations beneath unbelievably clear water. As you descend, the temperature shifts dramatically, wrapping around you in layers—it’s unexpected, almost surreal, and unlike any typical snorkeling spot. What ties it all together is the pace of a private tour. There’s no rush, no pressure to move on. You linger where it feels right, take in each place fully, and let the day unfold naturally. It’s not just about seeing these locations—it’s about experiencing them in a way that actually stays with you. It’s the kind of day that doesn’t try too hard to impress, but ends up doing exactly that anyway.

This was my first tour in Coron with my wife and we had an amazing experience! It was our first time scuba diving and kayaking. Our private tour guide was wonderful, he helped instruct us and really made us feel safe. He also took some great photos and videos of us as well. Highly recommend this Tour, everything was communicated well and went smoothly.

Absolutely loved it! We had a fantastic day, our guide Victor was wonderful and very informative. He accommodated us and ensured that we timed each place to get the least crowds and maximise our experience. The boat crew were also wonderful! Highly recommend splurging a little extra for the private tour, absolutely worth it! The lunch stop was beautiful and the food selection was excellent.

Our private boat tour in Coron with Aldrin was the highlight of our trip. He planned the timing perfectly so we could enjoy the lagoons and beaches without the crowds — at times it felt like we had them to ourselves. He also takes fantastic photos and knows exactly how to capture the best angles, so we came home with beautiful family memories. Most importantly, he was incredibly kind and patient with our 6-year-old, making sure our child felt safe and comfortable throughout the day. Aldrin is professional, thoughtful, and truly cares about his guests. It was absolutely worth it, and if we return to Coron, we wouldn’t hesitate to book him again. You can find Aldrin Labustro on Facebook or reach him via WhatsApp.

If you like snorkeling I can't recommend this place enough. Wow wow wow on the snorkeling. There are so many days trip options to choose from. You'll even get snorkeling in freshwater too! Honestly a piece of paradise for snorkeling.

If you or anyone in your group has any type of physical limitation, this is not a trip for you. There are hundreds (and hundreds) of stairs to climb up and down - the stairs can be very slick and crumbly. Our guide forgot to bring water, so we had none to quench our thirst at the first stop. To get off the boat, we had to pass over/through another outrigger through a passageway flanked by two (one on either side) red hot open stoves sitting at hip height. The floor beneath was very slippery. One minor slip would have been catastrophic. The same route was the only option to get back on our boat. Due to the unconfortableness of how the tour was proceeding, we opted to cut our losses and travel back to the port foregoing the rest of the tour. I know a lot of people have liked this tour, however, it just wasn’t for us. We were disappointed as we had such high hopes. Have to say, this is one of only two excursions we have ever disliked in the 60-70 countries in which we have traveled.

The area was beautiful! The guide was just ok. Not bad but not super great. There were hundreds of stairs we had to climb to get to the first lake. That would've been nice to know before I booked the trip. I probably would've taken a different trip to avoid the stairs. The lunch was well presented and plentiful. Take your own water/drinks and snacks tho. Those were not plentiful. Overall, it wasn't a bad trip just too many stairs! Snorkeling was amazing!!!
