5.00Our guide. Jerry, was absolutely fantastic! We spent a full day w him and 12 other travelers on a wonderful tour of Cotswold. Everyone had such a great time; Jerry was a wealth of knowledge and so very personable. The pace was perfect and it was a day we will remember forever. Well done tour!

5.00Kevin took us to four different villages and at each one he ensured we had an understanding and appreciation of each as well as unique features. The time spent at each location was ideal, and arriving early as we did at Castle Combe ensured we were able to enjoy this most beautiful village with just our small group. Being driven to the villages took the stress out of navigation and parking, and the small coach was very comfortable. As a solo traveler I even had my own window and single set. A great way to see this spectacularly preserved part of the country.

5.00Such a wonderful day! Definitely the easiest way to see some beautiful nearby Cotswold towns from Bath. Our bus driver/tour guide Kevin was fantastic—friendly, approachable, knowledgeable of the area and its incredible history and pleasant to listen to. He even had learned all our names by the end of the day! The coach was brand new and comfortable, the other passengers (from all over) were great to get to know and we saw so much more of the area than we ever would have another way. Well worth the price

5.00We so enjoyed our day seeing many of The Cotswolds villages. Our guide, Sean, made an extra stop and tailored the tour to our group. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and he was so gracious to take pictures of our friend group at scenic spots. Great experience, highly recommend!

5.00From the moment we started planning our trip to the UK, we said: we have to visit the Cotswolds. That’s how we found Mad Max, who offered a tour covering the villages we wanted to see—and it truly exceeded our expectations. Bill picked us up in Bath and took us around those magnificent villages that, otherwise, we wouldn’t have been able to visit—or it would have taken us much longer than just one day. Everything was fantastic. And Bill really made the difference. Even though there was a language barrier—he spoke English and we spoke Spanish—he made himself perfectly understood and also understood us. I highly recommend Mad Max, and I strongly recommend Bill. We would like to give special recognition to Bill, who brought great energy and passion to the trip, sharing all the details about the villages and the history of England. We also ended the journey with some great music in the van.

4.00I think this tour is a great way to explore small towns in the Cotswolds that are usually difficult for travelers to reach by public transportation. The guide provided informative introductions about the history and scenery along the way, and was very friendly in pointing out places worth visiting. However, I would recommend going on a weekday if possible—during this trip on a weekend, there was heavier traffic and larger crowds. In addition, the journey involves quite a lot of time on the coach, and for some villages, you can only view them from the bus rather than walk around, so at times it feels more like a sightseeing drive.
