Real stories that must be told - that’s what you'll experience at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Start your journey through country music history with Sing Me Back Home: The Journey Begins, Folk Roots to the 1960s. This exciting multi-layered experience tells the story of country music’s humble folk roots, and tracks its evolution into the 1960s. In 2010, the museum opened an all-new exhibit experience, expanding on Sing Me Back Home with Dreaming My Dreams: The Journey Continues, 1960s to the Present. This expansion included the addition of hundreds of new artifacts and multimedia elements that focus on country music’s recent history. We entered the HOF and a lady asked "Are you going on my tour?" Why not!? So we bought a tix for the HOF and Studio B. To go to Studio B, you took a bus off site. We drove past all the recording studios and got to see a Nashville past Broadway. So many artists have recording at Studio B and still record to this day. Highly recommend adding this stop. The HOF was everything I thought it would be. So many clothing exhibits that I specially remembering the artist wearing on album covers or award shows. Those are always my favorite things at any museum. I must visit. Just a block or two off Broadway

Wish I could have taken more time, but it was neat. My family tends to move alone a little faster than I do. Save time with your parking to be able to enjoy the museum.

I recommend going early to get good street parking. This is a large modern structure. After you pay admission (and there are a number of additional packages), you take an elevator to the third floor and work your way down. In addition to the permanent exhibit, there will be special exhibits, such as a Dolly Parton exhibit when I visited. Lots of instruments and costumes, as well as cars and other items. I learned a lot--really appreciated the part dedicated to Muscle Shoals. I didn't know that history at all. It concludes with a room of plaques, which holds Thomas Hart Benton's final painting. Very good gift shop. They offer drinks and snacks, but I didn't get those.

Excellent museum to visit downtown. Not far from Broadway so take a break from the party to visit. Allowed at least 2 hours unless there is a special exhibit. Located in the Gulch area.

Exceptional experience tracing the history of this music genre. Spent 3 hours there! Loved the special exhibits of clothing, cars, and, of course, musical instruments. Worth every penny!

The new exhibits were awesome and the additions since we last were there 10 years ago were nice. Took in the Ford Theater performance by Andy May it was a great treat.

This museum was uncomfortably packed with people who were rude and pushy. Too many people present to enjoy any of the exhibits. It was mostly just clothing worn by the stars and strangely, almost the female stars must be the size of children because the clothing was extremely tiny!!
