What To Expect
City and Wine
Visit 2 or 3 artisan, family owned Hungarian winery at the country-side near Budapest. You will meet the winemakers and they will not only present their best wines, but you will be served with home made meal and/or traditional Hungarian flavored bites, depending the option you select. Taste 6-12 glasses wine in total and indulge the best tastes in a genuine Hungarian country-side environment. The Morning tour option offers you a quick journey to the countryside, with the tasting of 8 glasses of wine and completing your experience with a delicious home made Lunch. The Afternoon tour with Dinner option is a full-scale wine and meal experience in the countryside with 12 glasses of wine and a home-made Dinner. The Gastro-Bites with Wine tour offers a nice afternoon excursion to the Wine region where the focus is on showing the unique flavors of the Hungarian kitchen, with home made pate, sausage and many more, accompanied with 6 glassses of quality wine.

5.00We were picked up by Susan and she had one of other couple with her. Turned out the ladies (Couple) were to be with us all week on our upcoming river cruise! Nice. Susan was extremely open, friendly and knowledgeable on all topics of the region. The trip to the wineries was so great especially the first (Nadas). Adorable place, family dream sort of thing and great! The second afforded a nice lunch (just right) with more tastings. Overall a great experience and well worth the investment of time and money. Highly recommend.

5.00Ended up on the evening tour with dinner, led by a wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable guide who kept us entertained and informed throughout. The small artisan wineries and vineyards were a great experience, on our tour we got a young modern winery to start with followed by an old traditional cellar located in a cave! The dinner was excellent, provided essentially from the kitchen of the vineyard owner. Great prices on the wines too compared to the city 👍🏻

5.00Our tour guide, Susan, took in all the hiccups of the day in stride! We slept in and had to taxi to meet the group at the first stop and she was very welcoming when we finally joined up and repeating to us some of the information that we had missed. One member of our group was not feeling well at the end of the day and she handled the situation very professionally and with empathy. The afternoon was very relaxing and we enjoyed the different wineries we visited. The tastings were varied and we really enjoyed the homemade lunch.
