First day of Cozy Bay Cruise Itinerary: Photo shooting, Sung Sot (Amazing or Surprising) Cave, Titop Island, Sunset Party, Cooking Class, Squid Fishing, Puzzle game or Singing Karaoke, overnight on boat 8h00: Tour guide of Cozy Bay Cruise will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter. 8h45: We complete the pick-up point then go to Halong Bay by Expressway 10h15: Have a short break on half way for 20 minutes to relax.

Check- in your room with Air-Conditioning. 13h00: Enjoy a special lunch with Vietnamese traditional dishes, while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay. Afternoon Itinerary: 15h00: Visiting Sung Sot Cave (Surprising cave).

4.00The morning starts were both early and our coach pick up was more than half hour late although the guide did message me once the scheduled time had passed. The second day breakfast was at 06.45 and lunch at 10.30. 🤷♀️ The ‘cooking class’ was not one. It was rolling up a few prepped cold items - egg, cucumber etc. in a piece of rice paper. Not very impressive. Other activities were fine and meals plentiful. I appreciate the coach driver may need rest stops but are they necessary between Hanoi & Ha Long which is not far? On our return, a stop announced as 30 mins was 50 mins so a waste of time for those of us returning to the coach on time. It was basically a stop at a big linen store, purporting to be a silk/cotton centre. People on holiday are not usually looking for linens and underwear! So overall, the trip was enjoyable but too rushed in parts and time wasted at other times. Guide was OK once we got him to speak more clearly in the coach - at first we couldn’t hear/understand him - the mic didn’t help.

4.00The 23 hour cruise is fairly low key. By far the star of the show is the bay itself. This tour is about the right length of time - a day trip tour would be too rushed. The cabins are nice, the food is plentiful and good, and the activities are good. The boat is small, holding at max about 24 passengers plus 8 crew. It's not fancy but is functional. We were picked up at our hotel in Hanoi's old town at about 8:15. Arrived at the dock in Halong city about 12:00. Shortly after that we put out to sea! Then lunch was served. Activities were kayaking, climbing to a viewpoint on an island, and visiting a cave. Our hotel wasn't on the menu. We managed to contact the company via WhatsApp and informed them of our pickup point.

5.00The pace of the whole trip is good, today's guide is Tam, the time explains very clearly, any questions can be asked, Vietnamese English although it is a little difficult to understand, but it will be repeated 2-3 times, language is not too difficult to communicate, the activities also introduce some Vietnamese local culture and literal meaning, and can feel Vietnamese local culture in person

4.00Tam, our guide and navigator on the tour was fantastic. An all rounder, multi talented guy, made our experience memorable. The crew, chef were very supportive and ensured every meal is an ecstasy prioritising our vegan preference. As far as rooms on the boat, it was basic and an overhaul can make it better.
